'16 FL RB Carlin Fils-Aime (Vol commit 7/30/15)

That most likely depends on injuries and whether Kamara sticks around for one more year (which he should and probably will).

That makes sense. Now that we've had Jalen Hurd over the past year and a half, I surely hope our staff continues to target large elite RB-Bruiser types because is it oh so sweet seeing Hurd get hit and the defender actually falling back. We missed that for so long with our recent crop of running backs (Neal, Lane, etc.).

Through 6 games Fils-Aime has averaged 1 TD every 3 touches. He's rushed for 633 yards & 14 TDs on just 46 carries (13.8 ypc) and snared 6 receptions for 205 yards & 3 TDs.

I saw last game he had like 3 touchdowns on 5 carries. I guess my question is what is wrong with his coaching staff? Is it that he's still coming off the injury? His numbers are insane. If I had a dude that scored every other time he touched the ball Id be getting him more touches.

Here's to hoping our offensive line is finally straightened out next season. I'm all for backs like this, but they need good offensive line play to be affective. They need to get to the second level in open field where they are most affective. Just compare Hurd and Kamara this season.

They are killing other teams. No need to use him more than what they are doing. Thankful for them.

Yeah keep the mileage down as little as possible. That was the only thing that scared me about Hurd coming out high school. I knew he could be a great back but they were running him into the ground at Beech. That shoulder injury may have been a weird blessing in disguise.

Eazy what do you think of the last half of the season? Is 5-1 a realistic expectation?

Should be expected, IMO.

Ignoring the "could haves", that's a 2 win improvement, which shows progress. Additional depth, seniority and OL play will have us ready to win those games we have given away over the next two years

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. Would you consider anything less than 8 to be a disappointment? I would.

I would agree with that. There's not a team left on the schedule that we can't beat, Alabama included. Not saying we will beat them but this is our best shot in years

I would. I think a two win improvement, given the talent influx is reasonable. A loss to Bama is not a given, but the chances are more than 50% probably. It is time to beat Mizzou, and there is no way Vandy, UK, USCe, and N.Tex should pass us up.

Agree 100%. Strange how a seemingly improbable win over UGA has reversed our outlook. 9-4 on paper is bittersweet because most realize we could just as easily have been 11-2 or better. However, with our mounting injuries, lack of depth or experience on the lines of scrimmage, and questionable coaching decisions, 9-4 still is improvement over 7-6.

2016 was always the target, and two great recruiting classes probably expedited people's expectations. Fair or not, the sudden increase in talent, especially at the skill positions, skewed our understanding of the importance of depth and experience up front where close games are won. Even still, we were close in every game so far this year without that depth and experience, so I have high expectations next season, and Butch has to win me over in 2016.

Just take the stripes off the pants and call it a day.

If you want it even cleaner than that then remove the orange collar too, I'm cool either way on that but all that matters...

Then add a buttflap to complete the pajamas motif. :)
