Agree 100%. Strange how a seemingly improbable win over UGA has reversed our outlook. 9-4 on paper is bittersweet because most realize we could just as easily have been 11-2 or better. However, with our mounting injuries, lack of depth or experience on the lines of scrimmage, and questionable coaching decisions, 9-4 still is improvement over 7-6.
2016 was always the target, and two great recruiting classes probably expedited people's expectations. Fair or not, the sudden increase in talent, especially at the skill positions, skewed our understanding of the importance of depth and experience up front where close games are won. Even still, we were close in every game so far this year without that depth and experience, so I have high expectations next season, and Butch has to win me over in 2016.
