He's committed to Utah with several HS teammates. I doubt he considers anything but a full scholarship this NSD.

Doesn't it feel good to know we have backup options? Don't feel bad bro... Alot of us are still desensatizing ourselves from the poorly planned recruiting debacles characterized by Derek Dooley's 3-yr. tenure at UT. With that said, this Zack Moss kid's film doesn't impress me, which should mean next to nothing being that I am no film expert.

You want a few emergency options like this just in case you have any last minute surprises on NSD eve. If the kid is committed to Miss St, or USCe, you're not likely to flip him last minute when he knows he's a back up plan for you. Flipping a FL kid committed to Utah is much more likely. Not a grey shirt. Not a blue shirt. But if you lose a CB or a WR 12 hrs before the faxes start to roll this type of last minute maneuver makes sense.

First off, Butch met with Zack Moss earlier today and tonight he's meeting with Carlin Fils-aime and Tyler Byrd.

On Moss, he said he and his mother are flying up Friday for their OV. He just wrapped up his Utah official visit last night. He has two other teammates that have already early enrolled out there.

He told me he's genuinely interested to see what Tennessee has to offer. Moss told me that Utah has tried to tell him that he will compete with a senior for playing time when he gets on campus and that's particularly intriguing.

I agree. I think they were recruiting Moss when Kamara was considering leaving. When Kamara officially stays, they let the Moss recruitment play out instead of dropping him like a bad habit. They would take him if there's a spot. There won't be a spot.
