'16 FL RB Zack Moss

Tennessee staff has visited him since Kamara announced he was returning to school. Seems they want another RB

Where is the film sped up? I watch the crowd and the sidelines and its not abnormal

You are correct, Sir. My apologies. I initially watched his film from my phone and made a bad assessment regarding the speed of the film. However, my original statement regarding his film holds true poor, poor man's Joe Mixon.

Per Hubbs

As for Zack Moss, this could be a question about is there room and who is a take. Moss certainly is someone the coaching staff likes and more so we believe because in all likelihood Joe Young, John Kelly and Carlin Fils-aime are the only scheduled returning backs once Jalen Hurd and Alvin Kamara presumably turn pro after next year.

If Tennessee has room and makes a push, it's not hard to see him ending up a Vol.

So if they miss on the DL guys we could see a finish of Warrior, Byrd, and Moss. Williams possible as well. Especially if the news that Stewart is done is accurate. Should still be top 20.

After Hurd goes there won't be a single down hill runner in the team. I hope Moss is more of a priority than even we are being told

I don't think he has near that level of pop at the point at the college level. He's not an impressive back at all. We'll be fine at RB. Kelly will be fine getting tough yards.

The current roster RBs wont be getting tough yards man.

I get you may not be high on Moss, but JK and nem ain't moving any piles and breaking tackles at the LOS.
Fwiw, Moss can do both.

I'll gladly accept a RB who can score TDs from the one on 3rd & goal

7 beats 3, and 3 got us beat vs OU

How is that game on any of the backs? On top of that JK has already shown the ability to break tackles. Moss won't be pushing the pile in the SEC. IMO He's not a factor back like that. I'd rather just save that spot and go after a better player next season. I'm done with marginal backs at Tennessee.....

Hurd was replaced at the 1, and we couldn't get in the end zone giving it to our sattelight RB, btw which every RB on the roster besides Hurd resembles.

I don't see Moss as a marginal back. I see that the things he does best, aren't the strengths of the current crop of our RBs on the roster

Is this the film y'all watched? And said it was sped up? Can't be. That's some great balance, feet, vision, and leg drive.

I'd rather just wait until 2017 and sell one of those 5 star stud RBs on being a starter from day 1 as a true freshmen.

Yep. RB is not a pressing concern right now and RB is a position that talented true freshmen make immediate impacts for high level teams. Absent the coaches thinking Moss is an elite talent--and all indications right now being that he would be a just fine consolation prize if the coaches miss on the guys they really want--I think we should just sit tight and go big at RB in '17. Plus, we have a few RBs that look like contributors already on the roster and I cannot imagine that Moss is better than what we already have on the team since he would otherwise be a commitment already.

We will have 2 RB's drafted, and not a similar back to Cord Richardson. Perfect setup for him to come in a start. IMO, that should be the focus ATP.

I also think Kelly will be more of a complete back than some think. I agree, we need a bruiser in this league, but idk if it's this guy.

I believe the coaches are going to shoot for a full class. With 11 scholarship seniors graduating, I bet we bump up against the 85 limit well before the 25 limit in the '17 class.

Kelly seemed to have a helluva push when he scored from the 2 in the bowl game. AND when I saw him play in the Western Carolina game among others. The kid runs hard and makes his own space. You see differently, though?

Him and Chandler would be an elite haul.

Kelly is a very good back who can do it all.
