'16 FL WR Binjimen Victor (Ohio State commit)

Yeah it was taking a hit especially from DCraig and Trob.Muschamp.

His other son if getting promoted in Personnel Department so it shouldn't be a complete shutout. I don't expect him to "help" UF with his kids anytime soon. Lol

Gray would be a hell of a hire. Beamer and Co lived in SoFL in the mid-late 90's when it came to DB's. We sent our fair share from Clewiston to Blacksburg during those days.

Best likely candidate. Recruits and his units are always solid. The 247 guys want Raymond but it's hard for me to see him leaving LSU for same job. He turned down a rumored co-DC job at UM. Foley will have to make him a really high paid assistant to make the jump imo.

Wide receiver Binjimen Victor (Coconut Creek, Fla.) said he's still considering Ohio State, West Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Louisville and Notre Dame following his Tennessee official visit.

Victor said he's still planning to officially visit Florida this weekend.

His final official visit January 29 could go to Louisville or Notre Dame.

He said Georgia is still in the mix for that trip as well. It won't go to Miami.

As first Miami was the option but I don't think that's the right place for me," Victor said. "I haven't talked to coach (Mark) Richt in a while."

Victor plans to make his choice on National Signing Day.

Victor arrived at Tennessee on his birthday, Friday.

"I've been there already so there isn't much I haven't already seen," Victor said of Tennessee. "I hung out with the players. My host was Cameron Sutton and he did a great job actually. He kept it real with me."

Victor said his 'favorite part' of the visit was "probably hanging out with the players."

He met with coach Butch Jones in his office prior to exiting.

"He told me to make the best decision for myself," Victor said. "He said to not rush the process. He said Vol Nation wants me and I can come play for him. He made me feel comfortable."

This week Victor said Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and wide receivers coach Zach Smith are slated to stop by for an in-home visit.

Victor said he wasn't sure if or when anyone else is coming by.

He said he feels West Virginia coaches JaJuan Seider and Lonnie Galloway should be by as well.

"West Virginia is a great place," Victor said. "They have a great environment and game atmosphere. I just like everything about it. They have great coaches and some of my boys are up there."

“It was great,” Victor said. “I got the chance to spend time with the players and ask them any question I needed, spent time with the coaches. I had a great time; it was a great weekend.”

“Basically, I’ve been here already, so it’s not really new to me,” Victor said. “It’s just the facilities…I just like the people here in general.

“(Tennessee) was always under consideration. So, I’ll just wait until signing day or a week before signing day to see what’s going on.”

Only reason I could think of Raymond leaving LSU is if he doesn't think he'll have a job next year, which is a legit possibility the way the AD has handled Miles this year. I think Foley would open up the pocketbooks to get him if Coach Mac would ask. I do agree that Gray is the most likely candidate, or perhaps someone Mac has worked with in the past.

He is announcing today at noon on Twitter. Cb'so to Ohio st.

Hey, either we get him or it means that we were the last team he was seriously considering and he just wanted to make sure before pulling the trigger. I like completing with the OSUs and Alabamas of the world for so many recruits.

I would say that that is not the worse news for us, but I hate me some Urban Meyer so much, I still don't like reading that.

Hearing tOSU along with Haskins.

Seems dark for Gator Fans, NCM, now Victor, this staff cant battle with top programs for skill position players and OL in recruiting unless they reside within a 2hr radius of UF.

That at least benefits Vol fans against us in the east.

Very skeptical of this staff and overall recruiting top talent for everyone not named Rumph.

Really? Skipper inked top juco RB and Bama 7A POY is a solid commit.

Shannon is solid.

Dixon is finding his way but has UF in top.2 WR Cleveland. Pulled two top 247 WR: Hammond and Swain.

Rump is a stud. Can go head to head with any recruiter in nation.

Collins and Nord have done work in Bama.

Summers and Callahan have been the weak links this cycle.

Probably the reason one is no longer employed.

They arent horrible, overall as a staff is C+ or B- but after the early enrollees would you say this staff is on the way to closing strong?

Cleveland is the only option for #1 WR (committed to Hou), Fulton is LA kid and UF doesnt have DB coach which is still important no matter how close him and skip are, Mack aint coming, neither Dickerson or Simpson.

Dont get me wrong they have done some positive things but you have to be concerned at how this finish is looking.

Vol fans aint giving any pats on the back at how this class is closing.

Looks like Urban is about to clean up on the recruiting trail, 3-4 top 100 players in a couple days. Man, I hate that guy
