Heard we made a MAJOR push here

Hope so. We could use him wherever he wants to play. Heck we could use a lockdown corner of T hat's what he wants to do. I know people say winning the game doesn't effect recruiting as much but it really does when it's the two teams at the top playing each other in front of the kid.

Yeah it's such a interesting dynamic that rarely comes into play like that for us. Head to head matchup, at home, huge crowd, awesome jerseys, breakthrough win, Knoxville exploding in celebration. Couldn't have played out any better for us.

It's crazy how amazing Butch has recruited against teams like Georgia, without having even beaten them on the field. We finally got a taste of big game Butch in action.

Hopefully there are many more to come.

We finish with 9 total wins (100% solidifying Butch) and UGA has a few more L's (causing serious doubt about the Longterm future of Richt) we will have a great shot.

Otherwise I think I will be a tough get.

Well at least Mecole is open and honest by starting an account on Volnation and letting us know what the parameters need to be for Tennessee to close in on a commitment.

Couldn't really ask for a better game for Mecole to see. We threw the ball around, we beat a top 25 team, we beat his home state school that he's also really considering along with us, the crowd was loud, the smokey greys.

If we lose Mecole, it had nothing to do with this week.

I'll go one step further. If we lose Mecole, it won't have anything to do with Tennessee. This will be a recruitment where our coaches can genuinely say they did everything legally in their power to persuade him. UGA is just where his heart is.

A lot of uga influence around the kid. I feel we probably made a great impression but it won't be enough in the end. If uga lost Pruitt and richt we might have a chance. As is i dont see it, although I'd love to be proven wrong.

With the injury to Chubb, UGA only has Michel and MM on offense to go along with a very average D. Back to back losses may very well deflate them going forward.

The rest of their games are potential losses, yes even Georgia Southern.

That would be bad for Richt, good for us and Mecole.

Definitely a step further. Also probably very true as well

Is the full weekend visit just before signing day going to matter if he is silently committing to a school way before then?

If I were Mecole Hardman, Kyle Davis, Tee Higgins, Jeff George, and Brandon Johnson, I would want to see two things happen in the second half of the season.

1) Evidence that Azzani can develop receivers. So, far the evidence seems to me to point toward underdevelopment. I am not optimistic about improvement.

2) Evidence that UT will have a QB waiting in the wings after Dobbs who looks good in the short and the long passing game. We need to get Dormady some playing time in several games and see if he can force a secondary to play a larger area of the field. In order for him to do that, he will need some playing time with the 1st string OL that can give him a little time. But, if Dormady can show them that he is accurate and can make all the throws, I think we will be very attractive to those those guys.

Jarrett Guarantano? Hunter Johnson?

Dormady is the only one on campus that isn't redshirting, so he is the only QB that can show them this year in a college game. I'm not saying he will necessarily be the starter in 2017, but I'm not saying he won't, either.

Dude we will have 4-5 elite QBs on campus within 2 years.

Yes, it will be great, won't it, to have such a horn of plenty at QB. And they should have WR's and TE's drooling about coming here to play.

I still think my point is valid that Dormady is the only QB on campus this year--who isn't redshirting--who hopefully can show those five recruits what they can look forward to when Dobbs leaves. Jones, Guarantano, and Johnson can't show them in a college game what they can do before the receivers sign. Who will actually be the starter in 2017 is undetermined at the moment.

What your saying could play in our favor though. Dormady has an arm on him. You can sale his potential, but we also can sale how highly rated our other QB commits are. Trust me when I say that our coaches arent just selling one QB here. They will use all the weapons at their disposal to bring in big time players. If I'm a WR, I'm all about playing beside Dormady. The kid has a canon for an arm. He's got legit writing all over him from a physical standpoint.

These words you're using don't mean what you think they mean.
