If he wouldn't have battled injuries a lot this year I would agree, but acl and hamstring injuries hampered his season.

I'll give CZA one more year. Everyone has been injured and sometimes Dobbs hasn't had enough time to throw, plus there were a lot of drops earlier in the season. Recently they've been doing better in some games, but I don't know if it's because Butch has been helping or they're just finally getting it all together. Plus he's a heck of a recruiter. So I'll reserve my judgment for one more year because that's supposed to be when we finally make a run for the SEC Championship

I don't know. He's just a quintessential deep threat. Don't see a lot of wiggle in his running like our other guys do. Z was his main recruiter maybe he was told we would be throwing deep taters this year.

I think he's great though and hope it's just the final bout of battered Vol syndrome makin it's way out of my system.

Mecole told Dawg247 no Pruitt = no UGA.....their mods are pretty sure Pruitt won't be on new staff based on what they are hearing. I don't know why he is so dead set on Pruitt like he is the only guy that can coach him to the NFL

This, a thousand times this. My "forget this" moment on here was when I got trashed when I knew something about the AJ/Williams rape fiasco. Some accused me of piggybacking on Eazy's posts who was posting similar comments from different source(s). My source happened to be a VFL in law enforcement that absolutely knew. I would never reveal that source because he is a long time close family friend and I would never cause him problems in his employment. When it happened I was in town. When I spoke with him I was on vacation a few days later. But I was just wrong and lying according to some because my hopes for it working out OK from my first posts were changed by the realities from when I found out the truth.

I have two friends that have extensive football coaching backgrounds. One even worked some of the Bowden family camps and is still friends with Jimbo. But I will never post what I hear from him on here because of the snarky junk that several post when you make a statement about somebody they don't care for, like Jimbo. I will post what we come up with about the scheme, play calling, player usage, recruits' highlights, etc. But I will no longer post what my friends see and hear when they go to practice. Not worth it.

FWIW, the three of us agree, it's all on Butch from this point forward. Hope he takes the step up into the elite because it could be a great period for football on the hill.

I would like to post some of the info that I get from the JUCO ranks but I never will. I've seen what happens with some of the posters and just decided it's not worth the abuse. I just keep it to myself and grin :}:}:}. I'm very close to a respected DC in the JUCO ranks who has plenty of SEC coaching experience. Man, I love to listen to his stories :}:}:}.

This deal with Richt is the best thing that could have happened in the recruitment of this kid. Obviously none of this is about Richt but it's about Pruitt, if this kid is so dead set on playing for Pruitt then let him... He's 1 player, a great one but he's obviously has his mind made up that he's going where Pruitt is going. Focus elsewhere Butch
