Thats what I have been thinking. People getting excited about us getting Hardman may be in for a severe letdown. I think he either follows Pruitt or sign with Michigan. Either way I dont believe we get him. Although I would be happy to be wrong.

Michigan? No way. If he doesn't sign wherever Pruitt lands, he's a Vol.

Wouldn't say he's necessarily a bad hire, just that he's unproven. People would be wary of the hire because it could turn out like when Florida hired Muschamp. Good defensive mind, not so great head coach. But, we won't know until somebody takes a chance on him

That defense was pitiful. We had no business coming back and winning that game. Glad we did though

Football Scoop also tweeted that Pruitt will not be retained and he will be targeted by Alabama.

You saw what we did to Pruitt's defense this year, right? Not only help with Mecole but it would make USCe horrible. Also they can hire muschamp and have a killer defense but no defense.

No, UF did not destroy that defense. Quit scoreboard watching. They had short fields and were given a large boost by ugas offensive woes.

Two TDs came off a punt fumble return and a five yard drive.

A third TD came in garbage time in the fourth when ugas defense was on the field all game. See Florida's 61% possession.

That leaves one TD that was truly earned in the second quarter. So destroyed, no.

Top 10 defense because of some weak offenses they played. Padded stats by shutting down Vandy, Auburn, Mizzu, KYs of world and FCS schools. Anyone that watched them play Bama, TN, Florida saw what that defense really was which was not very good. He got schooled all 3 games

I'm not sure that Saban wants Pruitt back at Alabama. He already knows what Pruitt is like. Richt wasn't going to keep him around another year had he not been fired because of all the problems he caused. Pruitt is all about himself and not a team player. All of this "keep Pruitt" talk by UGA players and recruits has been pushed by Pruitt. It all started with the power point slide of their best defensive statistics that he posted in a meeting with players and encouraged them to take pictures of it and post on social media. He has known for a while that he won't be back and is doing all of this for publicity and to give him something to sell to potential employers. He's more underhanded than Urban, and that's saying a lot.

Well, it certainly helps that they played Missouri, Vandy, Florida, Southern, Georgia Southern, and Georgia Tech. They all either suck at passing or run the option. Oh, I didn't even mention UK or Auburn, who also struggled on offense this year. Numbers don't tell the whole story.

Mixed signals on what Bama would do. Some think he promotes Mel but other think he won't or Tucker may go back to NFL. Others say Pruitt. Pruitt dream job is Bama and thinks he can get HC job there if Saban eventually leaves. UGA was never a long term stop no matter what bull crap he told anyone. He was going to do anything to get back to Bama if DC or HC ever opened
