The Pruitt talk is all over the board. I have seen him linked to Auburn, Bama, Michigan, Ohio St, and Southern Cal. Georgia people seem to think he won't go to Bama because Saban has too much input into the defense. Hopefully it helps with Mecole. Miami board thinks he may visit down there too.

They have no clue, of the relationship between Richt and Pruitt.

It's like saying Johnny Majors is looking to bring Fulmer onto a staff. :blink:

I could be wrong, but when it comes to Hardman, I'd worry a whole lot more about Pruitt to Bama than Pruitt to Michigan.

Well, remember that DD convinced Majors and Fulmer to shake hands at an event before the Arky game.
To me, that was the first sign of the Apocalypse. :eek:hmy:

Just a little claification. Doesn't the school only get 1 in home visit from the head coach?

I say that to say if Butch is doing the in home I would be a little worried that we are doing this now. Makes me wonder if the coaches see this one slipping away.

And I know that he is still supposed to visit around signing day but this still worries me if this in home is with Butch.

OV didn't say Butch was in-home...just the coaches. Could be Z and Thig or Willie.

Too bad his junior and 1st part of his senior year was a bust. I would have liked to seen what Cutcliffe could have done with Crompton if he had more time with him.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought it was Kiffin in '09 who started rolling JC out about half way though JC's senior season to help him regain some confidence.

I'm beginning to wonder if OV is feeding us a lot of information to help Mecole "shock the world" and pick Tennessee.

If it were anyone else I might agree but OV doesn't pull punches, never has for any recruits in the past he has been close to or had close knowledge of their recruiting.

He is certainly a candidate. Michigan 247 reported this morning that Michigan is tentatively scheduled to meet with Pruitt. Greg Jackson, Jim Leavitt, and Lance Anderson are also in the mix.
