Bump for giggles![]()
I'm confused why that humors you? Do you find negative results for your favorite team funny? So if I predict we're gonna win the national title next year are you gonna bump up that post and laugh?
Folks like you are pathetic. Optimism that the team you root for does well isn't something real fans laugh at.
Its called being a fan.

Ok, what is D4H's other screen name?!? He's got to be the one "liking" his own posts. This is ridiculous.
There's nothing wrong with what he said. Some readers get tired of seeing posters ridiculed for comment or for optimism. Sounds like a bunch of smug know-it-alls trying to show the world they are superior to the unintelligent rabble around them by piling on. Let him be an optimist and let him decide for himself when he will and will not celebrate. Try this. "I disagree but I hope you are right." You can be smart and respectful.
Looking forward to an "Oh yeah? Well..." response telling me what D4H does.
I agree with your respectful approach. Some posters have earned the scornful retorts they receive, but in general, VN tends to shoot first and ask questions later across the board when there is a disagreement.
In D4H's case, posts like, "Hardman is a Vol...book it!", just sounds like throwing crap against the wall to see what sticks. It certainly isn't based on any kind of factual/inside information, just blind hope. That's all good and well to hope like that except it gives the perception that he knows something that isn't public information. Even worse, will be the self-important "I told you so" if by some miracle it actually materializes.
As for hope, keep hoping.
Where does this thread rank on the longest thread for a particular recruit list?
just morbidly curious
I thought that the QB that ended up at tOSU last year had one in the 7,000s

I agree with this post. But on the Hardeman front. Everyone who is remaining optimistic please be ready to have your hopes dashed when he picks Alabama. D4H I like your optimism but with this kid I would not have any at all.
And how much playing time did Torrance Gibson get this year? It looks like the two highly rated athletes we recruited the past couple of years will take their interests elsewhere to play other positions. TG - QB and MH - DB. I don't foresee either of them being successful in their endeavors. TG has already transitioned to WR since he couldn't even find the 4 deep OSU's QB depth chart and after watching some videos of Mecole getting torched at DB I personally don't believe he will succeed either. It may be good riddance that we missed these guys even though they would be recruiting class stat builders.
Agree on Hardman. I gave up on him months ago. OV has been very upfront with us on where we stand. I believe he knows what he is talking about.
