I know it's a long shot but Sat Night is the type of game atmosphere potential to leave a lasting impact that could swing the momentum. Similar to how a lot of big time kids were at the Auburn-Bama game few yrs ago when the crazy FG Return. It really changed the game for them with some recruits that were there. Everything is lined up for an unmatched game atmosphere that people may not see anywhere the rest of the year besides possibly Neyland again for TN-UGA game of both teams show up undefeated

Per Hubbs

Now, on some of the guys expected in. Tennessee continues to battle with Mecole Hardman and this will be an important visit for the Vols because Hardman doesn't plan on taking official visits to schools he considers 'close.' Right now he has three official visits set up to Miami, Michigan and Ole Miss and could use another to visit Stanford.

Hardman still doesn't plan to decide anything until signing day so even if he doesn't officially visit Knoxville it wouldn't be a surprise to see him back on campus between now and signing day.

@iiAm_Mesho: CB from Grayson the best in the state? #Dead! I'll destroy that boy on a island! @KDSZN Im Finna get started lol

This kid has some serious confidence. I like it.

The fact that we are not getting an official visit makes today's game all the more important

Not really because he is not going to OV to UT or Georgia. He is using his 5 officials for fun because he has been here and at Georgia a bunch of times. It's expected that he is going to make some more trips here and to Georgia.

Update on VolQuest. Don't have a script, but I thought those that do might relay some information. PFort's headline said "interesting news" or something like. Nothing about being in good shape, but it seemed noteworthy.

Basically said he had a good time. Stadium was loud. Said he hung out with some of the other recruits and that was good. Said he met with coach Jones and he said he thanked him for coming. Said coaches were upset about the game. Said you can tell TN is on the verge of competiting for championships. Said Butch wanted him back again a d he said he was going to try and come back for GA.

Wow good news.

Talk about it in The General's Quarters
Bowman, Georgia athlete Mecole Hardman continues to attack the recruiting process like he does a football thrown his way on Friday nights. A visit to Knoxville for the Tennessee/Oklahoma game on Saturday night was a solid experience.

"The visit went good," Hardman said. "I had a good time. The atmosphere was awesome. Going to the game and being amongst the fans was great. It got really loud in there."

After the game, Hardman got to spend sometime with the Tennessee staff and while they were understandably numb from the heartbreaking loss, they focused on the talented wideout.

"They wanted to make sure I had a good time," Hardman said. "They were pretty upset about the loss. Coach Jones told me he was glad that we were there. He wants to get me back up there for another visit. I may come back for the Tennessee and Georgia game."

The 5-star talent wasn't the only top talent at Tennessee over the weekend. Hardman stood with other top players like Joejuan Williams, Tee Higgins and Nigel Warrior as Tennessee took part in the Vol Walk.

"It's always good to visit Tennessee," Hardman said. "I had a great time seeing some of the other recruits. It's good to know the other recruits because you can just hang out and interact with them. Everything was really cool."

Hardman maintains he doesn't have a leader, but also said he's looking for something special.

"It's all about the feeling I get at each school," Hardman said. "It's a good feeling on Rocky Top. You get a good vibe when you are around the program. I think they are ready to compete for a championship. They are definitely on that breaking point."

Elbert County is off to a 3-0 start on the season and Hardman has played a huge role. While that surprises no one, he says they have a legit chance to contend for a district and maybe state championship.

"It's going great," Hardman said. "We are undefeated right now and hopefully we can continue to grow as a team. We have all the talent to win a state championship. Everyone just has to keep the same mindset and we just have to keep trusting each other."

Rivals.com ranks Hardman as a 5-star athlete in the class of 2016.
