I have uga acquaintance says there boards predict he signs with them. Did I miss something I told him no chance.is uga really in this fight

No way butch losses a legacy to Ga.

A,lot of fans see him as a instate player but as soon as they say Dale Carters son then they get really nervous. I think he becomes a vol. UGA has been putting on the pressure but I think we land him in the end. He is retweeting a lot of UGA tweets but mecole hardman does as well and has named us his leader for a while. Hope we get both of them

I don't like Scout at all. Especially with the way they have their scouts set up. A single guy covering multiple states in the South while they have like like 4 guys covering Ohio alone. It's an odd set up for sure and certainly hurts them with evaluating guys in the south. I've seen some of them actually say they've never scouted some of the highly ranked TN guys so they just slap a low 3-star on them. Plus the site layout is a mess compared to Rivals and 247 IMO.

With that said, Michael Clark deserves a lot of credit for nailing Darrell Taylor. He's usually great with predicting where VA kids will end up and he said all along TN was going to be very hard to beat for him, even after everyone was saying he was a VT lock.

So Chad Simmons, Danny Parker, Jamie Newberg, Yancey Porter, John Garcia Jr, Corey Bender, Amy Campbell, and Brian Eldridge just dont count? Those people and two or three others cover the South. I get it, you dont like Scout, but making a factually incorrect statement like that causes a major hit to your credibility.

Callahan days he'll ask around about his last name... oh and Tennnessee is in the driver's seat.... Lol at the Dawgs.

Per Rivals..

Class of 2016 defensive back Nigel Warrior has long known about the Vols. The son of former All-American and All-Pro Dale Carter, Warrior has heard plenty about the Vols. Saturday, Warrior was in Knoxville with his mom and his dad to see the Vols take on the Gators and left with the Vols continuing to be his early leader.

"Tennessee leads," Warrior said. "I have just always liked Tennessee. From the time I was born, I've been watching Tennessee. I like the campus and how they play defense is how I like to play defense."

The 6-0, 180 pound Warrior is playing safety for his Atlanta Westlake High School team, but sees himself as a cornerback in college and works on his corner skills every day in practice. Saturday, Warrior watched the Vol defense intently.

"I like how they played defense," Warrior said. "They made plays on the ball and I like their aggressive style. I thought they played a great defensive game. Everything was great. The checkerboards in the stands looked awesome and the atmosphere was great.

I'm sure it's been posted, but why is his name not Nigel Carter?
My guess would be that Dale Carter and Nigel's mother were never wed and therefore Nigel took his mother's name. Not sure I have heard the sir name Warrior much though, so I may be wrong.

I haven't subscribed to there in a few years so maybe it has changed some. But the setup they had when I belonged to that site was a joke. Either way, you're right, I don't like Scout.

I have been a member of Scout for some time. I think their coverage is just as good and just as fast. I have never been a fan of Brent Hubbs. He springboarded his VQ site from his days on the Sports Animal. His big coup there was getting quotes from Roy Williams about Jerry Green. Scout also has Randy Moore, who, to me, is one of the best journalists in the area. He outshines Adams and the other yahoos on the News Sentinel staff so much it's not even funny. Randy is not an insider and doesn't break a lot of news, but he writes fantastic articles and is the consummate professional.

Hubbs is good people.

I don't disagree. He writes well and runs a good site. I personally think that he is very smug, but when he does report something, it is almost always solid. He definitely has good sources. I just prefer Scout.

Hubbs has been doing it for a long time. I was a member on VQ for 10 years before joining here. I followed him in college in 2000. He is probably the most popular because he was one of the firsts. He was originally affiliated with Alliance before they moved to Rivals. He obviously has the info because he works for the Vol Network. When people complain about their articles and such, you have to remind them that Hubbs is not a journalist. He is a radio guy who happened to start a website. He is there to offer information, not to write columns. JMO.

I don't disagree with this, either. His information is solid and he definitely has connections.
