He was before my time but I've seen highlights of him and he was ELECTRIC with the ball in his hands. I think he led the country in kick return yards both years he was here and won the Thorpe award his senior year.

Dale Carter was the best defensive back to ever play at UT…..bar none….and that says a lot because we have had a lot of great ones here at UT.

Isn't Berry the leader in career INT return yardage?

I know Carter was electric wth the ball in his hands but Berry is arguably the best safety in SEC history.

Was a 2 time All American, and I believe won the Thorpe Award.

He was amazing.

Got to go with Berry as our greatest db, with carter a close second. Berry was great in the run game too. A sure tackler and he was great in coverage.
