I'll trust the guy that runs a respected rivals site over nervous rival fans.

Lol. There isnt a reason to be nervous base on a VN rumor. Clayton has stated he's solids so

Clayton is dead set on the Gators after finding what he was looking for in Gainesville. He's not wavering at all, and he already can't wait to get to campus.
He won't be one of Florida's several early enrollees, but he won't let that be an excuse for him either. Only motivation.
"As far as defense, Alex McCalister is leaving so that spot is open. But with me, Jordan Smith and Jachai Polite, there's going to be a lot of competition to fight for that spot. I may not be an early enroll, but at the end of the day, the best guy is going to play.
"I love competition, because it brings out your true colors. You may be all talk and then when I get in your head, you might flip out just like Odell (Beckham). Just like (Josh) Norman did with Odell."
Oklahoma and Florida State have remained in contact with the four-star prospect, but the 6-foot-3, 218-pound defensive end basically said they're just spinning their wheels.
"As you guys have seen in my (social media) posts, I'm only taking one official, and that's to Florida," Clayton said. "They want me to come on the 19th and the 23rd
"As far as personnel-wise as far as the coaches and the players, they already showed me everything I wanted to see. I'll just use this visit just to see the dorms and everything. As far as getting that emotional feel for them, I already have that already."
Clayton was impressed by Florida's 2015 season.
"They had a great season. As far as the offense with Treon, we're going to be better next year. That's what they've been telling me, 'just stay with me.'"
By all accounts, he has every intention of doing just that. He recently hosted defensive line coach Chris Rumph and defensive coordinator Geoff Collins on an in-home visit, and the visit only reinforced his decision to go to Gainesville.
"It went really good," Clayton said. "They were just talking to me about enjoy your high school year, because you never get them back. They focused less on football and more on life. That's really something you should really focus on when you're getting recruited by a school."
Simply put, no other school has been able to grab Clayton's attention like Florida.
That's the reason he'll be suiting up in orange and blue next fall.
"Out of all the schools I went to -- Auburn, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, etc. -- those schools I just really didn't feel like I fit there," he said. "Then Florida, it just really didn't feel like I went anywhere. It just feels like home."

I like you better when you're not hiding your Vol fandom.

It wasn't VN. It was VQ, who provides the best recruiting info for UT. They didn't say he would flip either; just that he may have shown more interest.

I have followed recruiting for a long time, and you can't always believe what kids say. Sure, you can get an idea, but it all depends on who is asking the questions and the audience.

That's true, all we are saying is that if he scheduled visits to UT in form of a OV then we may worry, at this time he is recruiting for uf at the UA game.

i dont care for rival posters on here, and really think its ridiculous that you guys would rather talk to us about Gator football than your own jorted brethren...after all, this is a TN board. but, its a free country and open community.

i will say this, this particular gator regular always brings accuracy with recruiting info. Sometimes TN recruiting gurus dont get it exactly right, and the Gator guys are particularly good. Pains me to say that, but its been my experience.

Agree. HG is a good rival poster and does bring solid info.

I didn't disagree based off my response. But the VQ guys normally know what they are talking about. I have been following recruiting too long to base it off quotes in an article. I would say there is a great chance he goes to UF, but you never know until February,
