Looking back at JohnD13's previous posts he has admitted to being a Vandy fan for about ten years, has posted that Ole Mi$$, Ohio State and UGA would out-recruit Tennessee for prospects. The Commodedoor connection is probably his real problem, as most of them that I've been around all dislike the Vols and always talk against them. They also seem to think they are smarter than anyone else but they're not
JMO FWIW.

Dude they are smarter than us. We are all just dumb hillbillies with 4 teeth and none of us have jobs or anything. We just sit around and yell go vols all day.

I'm just glad we don't have to "anchor down"

True story:

One day in class a very respected local physician came to lecture us. He's always cracking jokes with us and picks at students every now and then in good fun.

So he looks around the auditorium and says "did anyone in here attend Vandy for undergrad?". 1 or 2 people raise their hands. He finds this one girl and says "oh really?".

He then goes on to say "I went to undergrad at UT and I recall a game in Neyland against Vandy. We were up 60-0 or something, kicking your asses like we always do. Then your fans and students started chanting 'that's alright, thats okay, we're gonna' be your boss one day!'".

He then looks at this girl and says "well I'm YOUR BOSS now. How do you like them apples?".

It was hilarious.

i think generally its a surprise, "Congrats, welcome to the most prestigious college in the South, blah blah academics blah blah medical school blah. We also have a football team, that plays football and is uh, yeah. moving on to interesting stuff: over here is our 50th library"
