At least he has not called a timeout at the end of the game as time was running out to allow the opposing kicker of his rival to set himself and kick the winning field goal.

He's still a pretty young coach though when you think about it.

His timeout usage is light years ahead of Dooley. I see no problem at all with his one out usage. We always seem to have 2-3 timeouts at the end of the half/game the last two years.

Being conservative,especially with our ineptitude on offense,
ability to allow blitzers to force fumbles, and at the time being close at
Halftime, all contributed to the timeout situations... Did I agree all the time?
No, but understood he didn't want a devastating turnover at the end of a half
That may demoralize a young team... I don't think we will see that this year,
In fact, quite the opposite

Good point. He should be able trust this team in crunch time situations or two minute drills far greater than last year's team. Dobbs and that comeback at SCar was marvelous and should give us the benefit of the doubt moving forward.

Either way, it's a game all dawg fans are concerned with. If they tell you otherwise, then they are lying or don't have a clue about the game.

I do like the fact that UT gets Arky the week before. I think that game will be just as tough for you guys. There's also the same defensive coaches at UT that are known for laying an egg. Butch Jones is also known for making bad in-game decisions the last couple of seasons. Maybe we catch a few breaks again this year.

...or Tennessee could just win the game because they're playing at home and have the better team and the Bama game the week before will serve as the excuse for Georgia fans.

I really hope this is the year UGA loses 5 and gets rid of Richt. It would give us another top 5 class for sure.
