Do you think we could quietly gain the edge considering the style of defense we play as opposed to UGA?

He's built like a typical 4-3 guy to me. I don't know if he has the frame to put on 335 pounds and play nose. JMO.

"Someone say 335 pounds??"

According to Google, Athens is 57 miles and a one hour drive, whereas Knoxville is 240 miles and four hours from Burford.

Unless you are someone's granny, nobody drives 60 miles an hour on the interstate. Closer to a 3-hour drive.

All that really matter in the distance factor is can the recruit be home for a weekend? And the answer is yes imo.

The only person that is going to have to deal with Atlanta traffic in that situation is the person coming from Athens to Buford.

Traveling anywhere from Buford right now is awful because GA-20 is a nightmare most of the day. It's much easier to get to Athens because the construction is all west of Buford. It forces anyone going to Knoxville to sit through it or hope to get lucky on GA-400 and 285. I have to deal with it today going to KTown. Hopefully they can finish it up within the year. I doubt the travel time has much impact on Brown's decision anyways.

Sorry didn't mean that in a demeaning tone. Even not during rush hour traffic is screwy around Buford and Sugar Hill thanks to ongoing construction.
There's literally construction within like a 75 mile radius of Atlanta in all directions haha. Traffic can be screwy at any point tbh

the 6-foot-4, 314-pound brown said he spent most of wednesday morning and afternoon at tennessee after making the trip for the first time in april with his family, and he “definitely” wants to return to knoxville yet again in the coming months.

He’s already planning to take all five of his official visits before making his college decision, and he admitted the vols probably will get one of them.

“tennessee’s straight,” brown said. “they’re definitely up there on my list still."

“i will take all five official visits,” said brown, who once called georgia his leader but recently has backed away from naming a favorite between the bulldogs, auburn, alabama and tennessee. “i don’t have a leader anymore. Keeping an open mind.”

brown said he’s still planning to announce his college choice on national signing day or in january at the u.s. Army all-american bowl.
