Look at how filthy Georgia's DT haul can be if everything falls their way tomorrow. This is just straight up insane.

Add these guys to Trenton Thompson from last year. That is a healthy rotation.

Rochester is a bum.

Clemson has a good chance of landing #1&2 players in the country both DTs and another top 247 player at position. After landing 1 5* and 2 4* last cycle.

Dabo getting it done.

Gary is a Michigan lock. No need to even theorize this unrealistic notion.

Clemson is in the final 2 purely for show. I don't even remember than being in his top 5 till now.

By no means trying to be negative here, but all of y'all grasping at straws to predict Brown coming here need to keep in mind that OV has already stated that he dug into his sources today and they said we were out. I agree there's some odd stuff going on with this recruitment, but OV is typically rock solid on Georgia kids. Still think we have a good close, because we flipped Byrd and I think will add Warrior and Kongbo.

OV also said he's going to Auburn eventhough his mom said they didn't even make the top 3.

I'm going to lean on the no one knows column. Not even OV.

Maybe. I never count them out for any recruit. Not that it means anything but last 3 CBs have been for CU. One came from Bleacher Report so that counts a half imo.

IIRC, his mom didn't say Auburn was out of the top three, she listed three schools at the top of his recruitment and Auburn wasn't one. There is a distinction there.

You're right, I just didn't know how to react to such a ringing endorsement of GAs new coach. Forgive me Nick. (How dare you 😂). 🍻 here's to hoping he flames out miserably.

Yeah, that's why I was going to drop it. The last thing I want to do is sit around and heap praise on a rival coach

Brown to Auburn would be puzzling. I get the fact that he allegedly grew up an Auburn fan and I understand that pull. I also understand the lengthy relationship with Garner. But, Auburn is on a downward trend. In spite of recruiting well, the defensive recruits have not been developed and the subpar defense has been an Achilles heel for Auburn. Now, Auburn has a DC in Steele that was, essentially, a last resort after many other DCs, including Shoop, wouldn't give Malzahn the time of day.

UT, on the other hand, is on a positive trajectory. Stripling has a proven track record of developing DLs and Shoop is considered one of the finest defensive minds in college football.

UGA even makes more sense than Auburn as Smart has some buzz, it is his home state school, etc. But, wouldn't it be weird for Brown to go to UGA after Smart ignored him while at Bama and then delayed contacting him for weeks while he contacted other UGA targets?

At the end of the day, I think the posters with good info have convinced me Brown isn't coming to UT. It just seems that UT makes the most sense from a big picture perspective.

Well if anyone is unsure about where we stand here, the "war room cam" just caught Shoop or Willie saying "let's hope Derrick Brown has a change of heart"

I'm watching the live feed on Tennessee and someone said something like "Derrick brown had a change of heart". Will be interesting to see what that means

Making sense out of an 18 year old's decision is like making sense out of the stock market...:thud:

Here is my prediction..we get Warrior first...Moss is announcing at 8:30 so I have a feeling he got an offer since he is already committed to Utah..then we close with Williams..should be a solid top 20 class and around 7-8 in the SEC...not a home run not a Dooley class either

I think Butch will do just fine, but wasn't that the epitome of a Dooley class?

i really think we get him, and Butch Jones is just pulling strings.
If so his new name is Butch Stones!
