Named a top 4 of Georgia, Auburn, bama and the VOLS.

Those are the schools that I feel like I've bonded the most with the coaches, and my parents like those schools.

Plans to visit all four officially and one more official visit is undecided, may not take it. -ESPN

Per Woody Womack

While schools like Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn and Alabama are believed to have the edge for Brown, he said he's not planning on releasing a true "Top Five" until he has his official visits plans in place.

Until then he's left to think about which schools might make the cut. One school he for sure wants to experience on a game day Saturday?

"Definitely Tennessee," Brown said. "I've never been up there for a game but with 100 thousand fans, that's a lot of people and I can't wait to see what that's like when it's game day."

I feel like 3 or 4 recruits hang in the balance on the outcome of that game.

IIRC that game two years ago helped persuade some people, even though we lost. the atmosphere and their experience will be more important than winning imo. of course why not have both?

A win is needed this time around IMO. The recruits know we are on the comeup. We need to win some big games now. For the Georgia recruits, no other game is bigger to help with our recruiting pitch for them to leave the state.

I highly doubt it. Recruits don't make decisions on the result. More of the experience, IMO.

Yes they do. The ncaa made a rule stating if a recruit is on an official visit and the home team loses. The recruit(s) cannot sign their letter of intent to that particular school... :dance2:

True, but we seem to be neck and neck with UGA right now for a lot of these kids. An incredible atmosphere, which is pretty much a given for that game, plus a win should be enough to seal the deal. Especially if it catapults us to the top of the East.

Anybody check out the Opening's OL vs DL clip? Looked slow and not nearly as dominant as his ratings suggest....He's no Kahlil.

Yea wasn't the most solid effort either. Just two snaps though. Maybe he's hurt too. anyways, man that's just an unfair setting for OL but Dicketson looked pretty good. And Rashan Gary is quick!

Gary did look fast, although I agree it's not fair for OLs. On a couple of Gary's reps he looked like he started so far off the line of scrimmage he might as well been an outside linebacker.

EJ Price had one or two good reps at OL too

Yes he did. Dicketson had a good rep and so did underclassmen Trey Smith. Once he adds weight and strength he will be top 100.

Also of note, Juliam Rochester looked equally pedestrian as Brown on those few reps.

Agree on all counts. Brown looked good on his 3rd rep (1st of the 2nd set).

In fairness, it's hard to find guys on Khalil's level at that age. I believed brown also struggled at the 5 star rivals event as well. strength program will be big for him. He looks to have some baby fat that needs to turn muscle and needs someone to teach him the ropes. I'd be pretty confident in Lawson and Strip turning him into a monster

Gary is a beast.

Rochester is fat

Kahlil was an animal at the opening. We won't see that type of dominance and explosion from many guys. Gary looked the best out of all and for good reason.

Kahlil has a family that eats, sleeps, and drinks football. His dad has access to an NFL training facility. His dad and uncle both have played for years at the highest level. Kahlil and his brother Jalen have been prepped for college football for a long time now. Just can't wait until 'baby' brother joins the fun. As for Brown, a year of strength and conditioning and he will be a stud. 5 stars get you into a major university. The ability a staff has in player development is what takes a kid the rest of the way. And I believe the Stripling/Lawson combo is one of the best in the country. I hope we land Brown to go with Tuttle and Kahlil.

Brown = Tuttle IMO.
