Honestly...no. At the time of the prediction post, Knott was ready to commit. But as his recruitment blew up he saw greener pastures. Can't hate the kid for that.

Thats never been our pitch. The pitch has always been about opportunity. You can come in here and compete from day 1 and the best player plays. Look at Kirkland. Beating out 5 other players.

I interpreted that to mean he would be announcing at the US Army game in Jan. This would be huge for us if we could pull him. I have a bad feeling it could be Auburn, though.

Brown, who is the state’s No. 1 prospect, is supposed to take official visits to UGA, Auburn, Alabama. Tennessee and Mississippi State.

He has not said which school(s) will no longer get an official visit.

Brown was on an unofficial visit at UGA this past Saturday for the South Carolina game.
