Spoke w the guy responsible for his "recruitment" at uga today. If Pruitt/sherer wind up staying they have him locked in...if there are coaching changes at the end of the year he will be back on the market and we stand a very good shot. So much will be in flux depending on what happens at end of season for uga coaching staff. I look at that two ways..1 coaching changes will allow us to steal some ga guys...2. I am scared of what a great coach will do with all the talent uga has. Personally I hope richt stays.

Not doubting what your source told you, just don't buy it. If everything you are saying is true, then UGA has about 10 silent commitments. I personally think their fanbase, boosters, writers, etc. are some of the biggest homers in college football. And what's up with Pruitt? Are everyone supposedly friends again after the Auburn game? A couple of weeks ago win, lose, or draw, Pruitt was gone. I think kids tell these guys a lot of time what they want to hear.

I think once he visits here again I think he'll come on home to Knoxville that last visit before signing day I think is crucial..hardman and Davis I've given on up on I hope they still come..I think we'll get velus Jones and that kid Willie Johnson from Florida and others

Didn't Mecole say he would also visit the weekend before NSD. I refuse to believe all these visits by him are a ruse.

Georgia definitely has quite a few silent "commits". Jacob Eason and a few others have spoken about them. What's going on at UGA for the 2016 class is very similar to what happened for us in 2015, with a lot of key players (such as Eason) heavily recruiting other top guys to play there. I think this showcases why it's such a huge advantage to lock up a few top recruits early on; they end up selling the program to other top recruits. (Which is why our 2017 class has the potential to be huge!)

That said, just as surely as UGA has a lot of "silent commits", those "silent commits" have potential to turn merely "silent" with major coaching changes at UGA. Even if UGA keeps its entire staff in tact (seems unlikely, but it is possible if UGA finishes the season 9-3), it's possible that enough uncertainty has been created to make some of these commit consider playing elsewhere. If I had to wager based on all the public statements of the top recruits, between Hardman, K. Davis, and Brown, it seems like Brown is the one we have the best shot at.

Ironically, Brown is less of a "need" than Davis or Hardman, but if we landed him ... HOLY CRAP ... our D-line would have the potential to be one of the best in UT history within a few years. I also think we have a pretty good sell at D-line in that we've had so many players exceeding expectations at that particular position in the past two years.

Unless Richt goes anywhere, Hardman is basically a UGA lock. Highly doubtful we get Brown either. Refuse it all you want but things seem to point to us missing on all of the top Georgia guys.

Pruitts gone....i think there is a 1%chance he comes back. As for Brown , those closest to him have no clue where he is going, all along though Auburn has been the favorite imo. From what ive been told that was who he liked growing up. With him you also have his younger brother who is a stud linebacker. I still think we are running third in this race.

You have no idea what the f you are talking about but you sure do a good job of trying to convince everyone that you do.

If you have any info that will paint a brighter picture, then by all means share. What have you seen or heard that makes you believe we land either one of Brown, Hardman or Davis?

BTW, I hope you can offer some good info and prove me wrong because I really want all three.

Also, its called opinions on a message board. I guess you're new here.

Yeah its sort of frustrating that people get so mad at opinions on a message board. I mean that's why we are here, to discuss. Some of these posters seem like they need a safe space :eek:lol:

You sure don't gallivant around on a message board talking about how we don't have a chance with a certain recruit because 'they're Georgia's to lose' based off nothing more than how you felt when you got up this morning and expect others not to call you out on it. It's got nothing to do with saying whatever you want on a message board and everything to do with my right to call BS on what you post once you decide you want to throw something against the wall to see if it sticks.

Speaking of McEachern, Top100 defensive lineman Julian Rochester told me that he is pretty confident Georgia will sign 2-out-of-3 of five-stars Derrick Brown, Mecole Hardman Jr. and Kyle Davis

Of all these, Brown will be the one that signs elsewhere imo.

Ok dude. OV, who has ties to Georgia recruits, has said that Hardman is Georgias to lose. You can call BS on all of my posts if you like. I dont really care. If we end up getting either of Hardman, Brown or Davis then by all means lambast me at will. Because I will come on here and eat me a huge plate of crow and be happy about it.

Dumb opinions have consequences. Very simple.
