I don't think butcher has the frame to be that big 265-275 maybe.

Butcher may grow into a DT as well if he gets it together.

We have plenty enough depth if we want to RS a DT this year or two.

Butcher does not have the frame to become a DT unless it's for Bowling Green.

I haven't seen him naked like some here apparently have so I'm not sure if he has the "frame"... :)

But most guys his size can get up to around 290-300 if that's their goal in a good S&C program with diet control.

I think you're mistaking height for frame. Tuttle is the same height as Butcher and he easily has the frame to hold 300+. The difference is that he's much broader than Butcher.

I've seen the guy up close and his frame is much closer to a Corey Vereen than a Kendall Vickers. Sure, it's possible for him to pack on weight and get up to 290-300, but at that point you'd most likely see a pretty big drop off athletically.

Rather than to make due with picou seems to be saying that it was a waste to recruit picou.i think he will be an excellent dt by his 3rd@4th sea$ons.so saying trying to make due with him is not a good thing to say im not saying he. Is on brown,s level but come on

This upcoming season will be (kinda) his SECOND...so he won't be "excellent" yet...by your own admission. He won't be a full rotation guy yet so you're " making due" until he is, whereas Brown...aw hell! DUDE! You gotta work on the capitalization and just plain decent sentence structure! Can't fight through that mess! :pinch:

Auburn just landed Antwuan Jackson at DT which makes 7 DL committed in this class which I believe probably takes us out of the Derrick Brown sweepstakes. Good news for you guys.

DB is too athletic to just leave in the DL mix. Barn is still swinging away here.

I'm thinking Safety maybe or Running Back could be in his future. :clapping:
