You still feel like shoop will be the choice ? I like to have him more than anyone volquest has on the hotboard.just my opinion but I think for the defense side of recruiting to finish strong we will have to have a major hire. I am not sure if we make a debord type hire we can close strong as I anticipate if that happens recruits will want to wait and see what our new coordinator can do on the field before they commit. Maybe that is/was the problem. There is no doubt that poor defensive play in the 4th quarter cost us 2015 3 wins. They could not get off the field and gave up long plays-TDs.

Like Warrior, the Vols are very much in with Derrick Brown. But, he plays things very close to the vest. Auburn is a real threat, but the wildcard is turning into Georgia. Some have hinted to us that Kirby Smart doesn't see Brown as a great fit in his defense. While we can't confirm that, it wouldn't be hard to see after Smart took several days to contact Brown after he go the job while other recruits were already hearing from the new top 'Dawg.

It was a 60-40 shot with Georgia most likely winning battle, although some analysts gave us the nod. id say its 80-20 at this pt, and thats generous

They have Brown 100% going to GA and Dickerson going to FSU... most likely.
