Defensive tackle Tyler Clark had also grown close to Jancek and while he still connects with Steve Stripling and Tommy Thigpen, initially it's a blow to the Vols' pursuit of Clark.

We are not saying they are out of either one of these, far from it, but those are two examples where Jancek had a strong relationship and we will watching to see what the full implications are.

As for Americus, Ga., defensive tackle Tyler Clark, he continues to evaluate Tennessee and Georgia. Kirby Smart had his in-home this week and Clark will visit Georgia this weekend.

The hope for the 'Dawgs is that Clark shuts it down and doesn't let Tennessee in one last time next week. If he does, you have to say the Vols at least have a shot heading down the stretch. But, again, look for Georgia to finish that one off this weekend. Vol assistant Tommy Thigpen was with Clark and his family on Thursday this week.

One last defensive line note, Tennessee spent a lot of time with Tyler Clark and his family on Wednesday as the Vols didn't leave Clark until late in the night. We still believe it would be an upset for him to end up a Vol, but Tennessee is still working that front hard and he hasn't told them no as of Thursday night. That is going to get even harder as Clark is scheduled to be in Athens, Ga., for a followup unofficial visit.

If brown signs with UGA, this kid could looks around, that would be like 3 DTs in this class for UGA, plus what they signed last year.

Probably playing the Brown to UGA card. I can see a coach telling him "I thought they said you were their priority at DT".

Gimme Clark, although following kongbo and brown have been fun, confusing, and such a rollercoaster ride. In tired of the stress and drama. Gimme Clark and let's wrap this day up, and start 17 cycle.

Would be awesome to get Clark.I don't know why he would want to sign with uga even though brown signs with auburn.

Has a very Saban-like feel to it. Recruit guys just so they don't go to your rivals.
