Blakely was the only recruit in the past three years that not a single coach took to Twitter after he committed.

I do not think numbers are an issue in this class anymore.

We gotta hang onto Kongbo. Losing him would hurt a lot. The rest are replaceable.

Landing Brown makes losing DCG acceptable. I personally don't think anyone else you listed is a big loss. They're all easily replaceable and we're actively recruiting more highly regarded prospects at those positions.

as for the other four allotted trips, blakely said it’s possible he could use one to head to florida.

but the colquitt county (ga.) standout isn’t backing away from his commitment.

“i don’t think i’ll reconsider,” blakely told sec country. “i’m pretty firm with tennessee.”

“the coaching staff, players, i’m really ready to get that college experience in me and play for the volunteers,” blakely said. “what’s better than playing for them?”

“sometimes you have rocky seasons,” blakely said. “they’re a real good team. They just struggled a little bit in the beginning. It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.”
