I don't even pretend to know corners. Seems like a position you don't really know what you really got in most cases until they are in the fire. Martinez and this staff has been pretty solid at finding DB talent so I trust them.

Totally forgot about this guy.

Really good to have him and Osborne coming in to add to the CB/NB unit. We will need them both and they both look like they have the ability to at least be good depth year 1.

If we can lock up Warrior and maybe 1 more DB we will have done a great job back there this year!

Byrd may very well be our project at S to add to Osborne, Warrior, and Henderson.

HAS to be? Do you not expect Martin and Abernathy to improve year 2 in the system? What about Gaulden and Foreman? This isn't the Dooley years. Jucos will start only if they are good enough. But this kid is a good prospect so we'll see what the competition does at the CB position.

Just want the best 3 playing the majority of snaps and 2 very solid reserves to give them breathers.

Though I hope our DBs don't need breathers since I'm hoping for lots of 3 and outs 😁

I don't like rotating the CBs. It's rare when you get CBs good enough to rotate without a drop off. Plus one guy may be setting a QB up while the other will mess all that up by rotating in. We rotated Moseley in against SCAR and P.Cooper immediately shook loose for a TD.

Guys should be in shape to play without needing a breather at this level. The only time they should come out is if they are being burned or get hurt.

My roommates in grad school were Easley grads. They hated Byrnes.

This guy is 6'3? Weight?

Plays more like a safety to me than a true cover CB.

Good at shedding blocks and making tackles.

He seems to get beat a lot initially at the LOS and then recovers downfield and bats down passes with his length.

The pic on the initial post looks nothing like the guy when you click on the rivals/247 profiles.

Did we get catfished and sign somebody else? Lol.
