A lot of Tennessee fans were probably wondering who DJ Henderson was when Volquest posted the story on the newest commitment Thursday night. But, he's been known by the Tennessee staff for a few weeks now.

As we've mentioned several times throughout the last few weeks, the Vols have been evaluating Henderson for the last month or so and just made contact last week. As we mentioned in last week's War Room, Henderson was someone to watch over the next few weeks.

While he had heard from several people the Vols were close to offering, we didn't know Henderson would pull the trigger that quickly.

Credit Tennessee's Bob Welton and his staff for finding Henderson in the midst of a number of junior college corners and believing in their evaluation and closing the deal quickly.

The only thing I don't like about this recruit is in his film it shows him constantly holding the WR on each play. He's either holding him or had a hand completely covering him.

This staff does know talent. weatherd, pearson, moseley, etc. You need a blend of older and younger players anyway. Cant have all high school players. Dont be shocked if they take a JUCO DE like Crump either.

In addition the 2016 high school class looks weaker than the last few so taking more JUCOs makes sense.

In Bob Welton I Trust.

He is running a world class evaluation dept, and if they get coaches on someone, who in turn give their approval, I won't question it. These guys have serious street cred.

Jonathan Johnson is really underrated as a WR based on what was expected from him when he signed. The guy is completely forgotten about when discussing the 4 & 5* players we have at WR, but he simply gets open and makes catches when given a chance.

I don't want to knock commits, but I agree. Other than being a big target, George looks very average on film. He looks like he will have difficulty getting any separation against SEC opponents.
