theyd been talking to me, but i just didnt know they were going to offer me like that. It definitely surprised me, said george, who received his first offer from arkansas state less than a month earlier.
it was crazy. It just left me speechless.
george said hes already somewhat familiar with tennessee.
my dad, he was a tennessee fan growing up, so he used to always talk about them a lot, he said. i know about the history they have and all the wide receivers that came through there. I know theyve got one of the biggest stadiums in the nation it holds, like, 100-something-thousand and i know theyre really on the come-up right now. They just beat iowa in that bowl game, and theyre looking pretty good for the next couple years.
Idk the hudl didn't wow me like Von's a couple years ago. Seems like the top target for a juco should have more than 4 tds. I'm not an expert though admittedly, flame away.

Idk what's not to like in his film anyway. I was impressed. Dude should blow up soon...
We were able to catch up with junior college wide receiver Jeff George on Thursday and he told Volquest that he will be making two visits to Tennessee within the next three weeks.
George said he'll be in Knoxville next week on May 28 and plans to be back on June 5 for another visit. If he makes both visits, which he said are scheduled to be unofficials, it would be hard not to consider Tennessee the team to beat there.
