Apart from a few developmental prospects in this next class (O-Line guys, Brooks, Okonya), it looks like Butch is targeting guys that are ready to have a big role on this next team. Butch wants to win now, and some of these JUCO players are just more physically ready to play than a freshman out of high school.

Don't see a big reason to take a JUCO DT next year. We will have so much depth there. But Coach Jones and Strippling are paid the big bucks (well at least one of them) to make those decisions.

Saban does it. Jarran Reed is Bama's best D-lineman this year.

To compete with the best we need 8-12 D linemen to rotate and stay fresh entire game and protect ourselves from injuries.
