'16 LA DT D'Andre Christmas-Giles - (Former UT Commit 8/29/15)

I'm just judging his actions (not unheard of on a message board) and of course, he has the right to take his sweet time... It's just not very smart in his case to keep coaches waiting for his decision when he is not a top priority for them - and I even said that I was assuming that LSU is where he wanted to go.

I just don't think it's a big deal whether or not he takes his time.

Oh! I am sorry. I thought he already made up his mind when he committed to TN.:eek:hmy:

Do you have a problem with Drew Richmond flipping his commitment? It's just how recruiting works. Sometimes a kid thinks a place is a good fit for him and pulls the trigger too early. It's just how it is.

In some cases yes, but in allot of cases, I think once they commit they lose attention and want to prolong the attention as long as possible. Heck, back when PM committed I did not even know until he walked out on the TN field his first game. The attention these kids get today is ridiculous. :hi:

Sooo, we still fighting about a recruit who want be coming here?

It's never too late for a Christmas list.

Would we take this guy back if LSU says no thanks and he chooses us from his top 10?

Nah....this kid is more worried about what things he will have to do in the offseason rather than focusing on the opportunity he would have during the season.

I find it odd that after being committed for 4 months, he decommits and then wants to do a top ten list just one month before NSD. Once again, if LSU is the choice then he should commit to them while he still can. It's obvious by how late his offer came that LSU prefers other DT's and he is a fallback option for them. This kid has let this new found attention go to his head and he wants his ego stroked.
These darn high school kids make way too big of a deal about their football recruitment.
Now let's all get back to following high school football recruiting!

He committed to Tennessee as insurance. He wants to go to LSU if they have a spot for him. IMO.
