Good decision academically, but he better be prepared to be eaten alive on Saturdays.

Except for those tough out of conference games Vandy plays. :birgits_giggle:

I honestly think he was put up to saying that. There's no way that their program at its current state could be a dream school for anyone imo.

hilarious seeing their fans celebrating with absolute joy lol. The guys offers were MTSU,NW, La Tech, Vandy, Temple, WKU, Wake.....They cant find anybody to commit that has an SEC offer.

A buddy of mine said Vandy stole him out of UTs back yard. I told him, in all due respect to Wallace, that he would have to walk on to play at UT with the guys we were and are after. He is a great QB and he will do well at Vandy but he'd get buried on the depth chart at Tennessee.

Good luck to him and I hope he does well but he may not see a bowl game in his career with how bad Vandy is right now.

Regardless of our thoughts on Vandy he does have an offer to play QB at a school in the SEC. Many, if not all of us were not athletically gifted enough to do so, so I'll give credit where it's due.

I would have picked VU over Northwestern also. Tennessee is a beautiful state.

In high school I would have picked VU over Northwestern. As I've grown to be more and more of a die-hard Vol fan, I can't say if I'd make the same decision today.

Didn't Robinette want to play for the Vols?

Yeah the robinette situation is like this one. Wanted to got to UT but no offer extended. If Wallace proves is wrong and is a great QB it wouldn't surprise me. His lack of production won't be his fault as much as the lack of talent around him. Also I could never go to Vandy regardless if on scholarship. I guess it's easier to say that since I'm not super intelligent but still :)

Could have just told him we are too busy beating out Ohio St for their too QB target. We aren't trying to compete against MTSU, Northwestern., etc

so will WKU and Houston. They are actually pretty good and probably have better athletes overall. Houstons defense is tough and greg ward jr is an explosive QB. WKU has a nasty offense.

Well with that thinking, Carson Newman and the university of the cumberlands steal talent out of UT's backyard every year.

Nah, Northwestern has a better coach than Vandy and an easier schedule. If this is strictly for football I would pick Northwestern personally. As far as academics, I have no idea. I know Vandy is pretty prestigious, I know little to nothing about Northwestern other than their journalism school is held in high regard.
