Talked to Hemholdt tonight about Corley and Hill and Corley could be an early enrollee but isn't for sure. I think Corley and Hill are probably long shots but I wouldn't count the Vols out at all.

Those two being in state were probably much easier to pull than a highly rated kid from Michigan. Chavis leaving LSU certainly helped a lot for Phillips. I don't discount Butch's ability but to me pulling Corley out of Michigan would be his toughest get yet. I would be shocked but I guess it's still possible......

We lucked up a bit with Darrin Kirkland last year, too. If Brady Hoke hadn't been fired, we probably would not have landed him. Phillips and Kirkland exemplify why Butch & Co continue to recruit a lot of guys that we know we are unlikely to get. We were considered to be in 2nd or 3rd place for both Phillips and Kirkland, but changes in situation brought them to us.

I was hoping that something similar would happen with the Georgia situation this year, but Kirby Smart and Jeremy Pruitt effectively switching places might have nullified the advantage somewhat. Still, I wouldn't be shocked if we end up flipping a "big fish" by signing day.

Harbaugh knows he can get away with that more times than not. Some coaches can do that and some can't. He can. He has the resume to back a demand like that.

Meh. I think it will work to his disadvantage in a huge percentage of the time. Don't get pushy with me when others are fawning like a dog over a steak, IMO

That's right- day after title game, so those teams aren't at a disadvantage while they prep for the final game.

Yea he's not coming to UT as an EE.

But I've seen where he might not even get to EE, so who knows

Reports from wiltfong today from army bowl claim he is still enrolling early. Article specifies that he is "torn" between osu and msu. Not sure if the reporter didn't ask about tenn or not.
