I agree that CBJ has done a well above average job of recruiting up North.. No doubt.. As far as John Kelly goes Butch already had a relationship there and I think that helped him close the deal when Harbaugh showed up late to the party just being hired.. Did John Kelly not have a teammate that we recruited pretty hard?? Name??

Sounds promising, but that's happened before. I will hold out hope that it means they are committing here but I won't put all my eggs in this basket

I wouldnt read too much into twatter and socail media goings on by these young kids. It would be nice to get them but safe money is on Hardouche or Cryer.

UPDATE - DEC. 10: Corley was scheduled to make an announcement earlier this week but decided to hold off on that. Tennessee is trending according to some but this one seems far from over as he has yet to make a decision on when he will make an announcement.

There has been a lot of chatter on the board this week about Detroit, Mich., prospects Donnie Corley and Lavert Hill. While we're not sure what the two are thinking, we've talked to several from the Motor City that believe the Vols have made a major push recently. But, a big question remains; can it last? Hill has expressed interest in visiting Ohio State and Southern Cal in January and Corley could visit Ohio State in January and Michigan is trying to host him for a visit this weekend.

While no one we've talked to says a decision has been made, there's no doubt the Vols are certainly involved in this one.

Not an insider but I spoke with a member of Corley's family today. They said it was a 3 team race. OSU, Michigan, and Tennessee. They mentioned that Harbaugh messed up recently saying that the kid had 24 hours to make his decision or Michigan was moving on. Apparently that did not go over well.

It was also mentioned that Corley and the family really like Butch. I came away thinking it was an OSU Tennessee race.

They mentioned Michigan state but it didn't sound like that was wrapped up or anything. Kids are all over the place of course but the family member said that "it's a 3 team race. Tennessee, Ohio State, and Michigan." They were confusing the two Michigan teams and thats when Harbaugh was mentioned. "Whichever one Harbaugh coaches."
