He is defintely expected to committ to Sparty but I will wait and see. Even if he does we all know Butch won't stop recruiting him.

I absolutely hope we get Corley, but I'm not too worried about WR recruiting. We'll end up doing just fine.

He probably would stay in touch just case something happened but they wouldn't waste a lot of time on him if he chooses Sparty. It would be a waste of resources in a small class when he would be making it clear that home is key and they would focus on the several other targets that are closer to our home.

Just heard from Donnie and the four-star WR has reconsidered. He will not be announcing this week and will take more visits after he returns from the Opening. Expect Tennessee to be one of those visits.

Bang bang! The longer this recruitment plays out, the more likely he is to choose The Vols IMO.

I am dissapoint. Went to the main board per your post to see if I could find some angry Mich St fans making excuses for Corley, only saw two comments predicting Corley to Tenn...where are the comments?

I'm glad that Corley chose to push back his commitment to take some more visits. Gives the UT staff an additional chance to seal the deal.

2. Donnie corley - it seemed that every other time brown made a big catch, corley followed him up with one of his own. A long, lanky wideout, corley exploded off the line, using his size to provide his fly rush signal callers with a large catch radius. Corley showed the ability to gear up after the catch that we previously have not seen in the 6-foot-3, 187-pound wideout. While he seems to be flying under the radar in this year's crop of receivers, the perceived michigan state-lean had a big day thursday with his soft hands, size and surprising acceleration after the catch.

BEAVERTON, Ore. — A third time could be the charm.

Tennessee welcomed Donnie Corley to its campus for a junior day earlier this year and then an Orange Carpet Day event in late June. The Great Lakes State's best wide receiver in the 2016 cycle said that a second Orange Carpet Day in Knoxville is next on the agenda.

After gathering information and enjoying a "chill day" with the staff the previous two trips, the third time south from Detroit figures to include academic research.

The 6-foot-2, 182-pounder ran a laser-timed 4.67 at The Opening last week. He also showed flashes of having game speed superior to his testing speed.

Who is going to get that talent into their college uniform? The pass-catcher delayed his declaration date and doesn't have another set.

"I actually don't even know now," said Corley, whose mother's family lives in Nashville.

Looking to help the Motor City talent make a sound decision is none other than Tennessee quarterback commit Jarrett Guarantano, who stayed on Corley early at The Opening. The wideout finds Guarantano's talent attractive and helps the Vols' chances of signing him.

"You've got to have a quarterback to get you the ball," Corley said.
