Claimed a 44" vertical at a recent ESPN camp. Not sure how accurate that is but that's one of the best Ive heard in a while...

Tennessee is also looking towards Mississippi with some renewed vigor and one name that is really paying attention is defensive back Nigel Knott. Several close to Knott's recruitment have told us that the Madison, Miss., standout has Tennessee as a school he's very interested in after his recent visit.

Elsewhere, the Vols remain in a good spot with Mississippi cornerback Nigel Knott. Knott stays in close contact with Robert Gillespie and the Tennessee staff and we continue to hear the Vols have really set the bar high after a great visit earlier in the spring.

Big fan of Knott. Kid flies to the football and is a playmaker. He's definitely an all-effort, balls to the wall type. He would be a sick nickel. Needs to work on his tackling a bit but that's an easy fix with Martinez. Really hope we land him.

Would be a huge get for Butch. Not many kids from Mississippi leave so what a get that would be. Is this the kid that lived in Tennessee for a while because of so that changes it some.

Nigel's father, David Knott, played Safety at Ole miss and his older sister runs track currently at Mississippi State. Going to be hard to get him out of Mississippi

Sounds pretty simple to me...come to Tennessee so you don't have to choose between the 2.

Hmm...Butch has had a silent commit go public at the Opening the last 2 years...we just had at least one CB decommit (I think Banks has decommitted too). Could this be our Opening boom this year? I will say yes.
