I don't wish that on them, but they were a rather boring rock band. :bad:

Saw them in the early 70's. Early stuff was very good (Golden Country/Riding the Storm Out) before guitarist Gary Richrath started using too much. Of course, you as arbiter of this board might be bored by some other groups as well.

So I take it you don't like other people having an opinion different from yours? You do realize this is an opinion board, no?

And I saw them in the early 70s as well. Just as boring live as their studio albums were. But then, that's just my opinion.

Doubt it, we'll be loaded even with Sutton leaving. His second year he'll push really hard for PT though.

Respect your opinion but I think Osborne should push for time. We will have second yr Martin who should slide over in Suttons place. Mosley who also should start with Gaulden at nickel but after that you gotta like Osborne. And if he is our 4th best corner he should see the field his freshman yr. what u think

Foreman will be a senior..... He's not some garbage player either.

Abernathy will play before Osborne.

I understand foreman is no push over none of the guys we have been recruiting the last couple cycles are but I think by your jr year u should be seeing ALOT of on field time and I just don't see that with Foreman YET who knows the light might come on then this discussion becomes irrelevant. I agree with you NPP Abernathy is the wild card. Good offseason discussion.

Unless they are a proven star with a locked spot, it's hard to say who will play over who until both are on campus going toe to toe. From all accounts Osborne is top notch corner so he def could find a way. 247 thinks he would be a nice nickel based on his performance at Opening cover slots. So his versatility could get him on the field.

Martin is a rare athlete but I'm not ready to pencil him in as Sutton's replacement. Moseley has great potential, but he needs to take step forward this year. he has to trust his ability more and turn to look where the ball is in the air.

Foreman is solid. Abernathy could make push at nickel.

But none of them are the explosive, great hipped athlete that Osborne is. His hips are outstanding and he has good height.

Osborne will contribute in the return game and on defense as a freshman. He's the most talented prospect at CB since J. Wade...

Agree about Martin he is raw and who knows. Everyone here is speculating at this point. I went to a couple of practices this spring and really liked what I saw from Sutton but who doesn't know this but with the other CBs it was hit and miss. But like everyone says we def have a NEW breed of athletes compared to this last couple of years. Coach Jones said it best yesterday and P Manning as well we have ALOT more Sunday bodies on campus then when he first arrived. Definitely a GREAT problem to have. Good to finally have discussions about different guys who all in some way or another can see the field at some point this year.

Foreman is actually battling Moseley for the other CB spot. I'm very confident in him if he comes in to play for us. The one breakup versus Missouri on the dig route was a very hard play for a CB to make without a flag. We're about to have our best CB group ever at Tennessee under Jones and Martinez. :)

Foreman is the fastest CB on the team(unless Martin has taken that nod). He's also the strongest athlete at CB. I can see little things holding him back in the coaches eyes but he's plenty of athlete at CB. I like Osborne too but I think he'll need to put a little muscle on and we won't need him first year.

I can't wait for him to get more pt. He's one of my favorite recruits

This. Saw couple games on TV in high school and he was a rare athlete flying around and making plays be it a tackle... He was a silky smooth receiver too. I'm excited for him.

He won an award this Spring for a reason. He'll be bringing it from the nickel. Plus he can cover.

We might not need him, but i don't think it'll matter.

I remember when we recruited Foreman and Sutton, i felt Foreman was a huge steal. Every time he has gotten on the field he has been effective. Had we recruited him just 3 years earlier he might have been a freshman starter.

Foreman has turned a corner and I think he could start. I've heard that he benches 350 and runs a 4.35.

As much as I like Moseley, I would not be upset if Foreman earns a spot. Also Mosley can bench over 300 now and also runs 4.4.

Martin has the most talent but he needs reps and competition. And weight room!

It's gonna be a really good competition at CB for sure! Can't wait!

Also Gaulden will be very hard to move from that nickel spot. He's going to ball for us there. :)

That kid is something else. He's so physical but he just can not build any size. But you can tell he is physically strong.

He's got that wire strength. He's very athletic to boot. It's like when he transferred from Brentwood and realized he lost a year of football he decided to make up for it all in on e year lol!

Very excited about Gaulden!
