The No. 2-rated cornerback in North Carolina's 2016 class is strongly committed to Tennessee. Now he's trying to get other big-time prospects to do the same.

Osborne participated in The Opening Charlotte on May 9 and spent some of his on-field time trying to lure players like Scout four-star wide receiver Diondre Overton and four-star defensive end Josh Brown to Rocky Top.

“I keep it simple, just how are you doing, just a regular conversation with them,” Osborne told InsideTennessee. "I ask them what their recruitment is looking like and I say just keep Tennessee in mind. I keep bugging them a little bit like a gnat.”

Is this old news, or is this just something we are gonna ignore. IIRC, not a lot of commits the past couple classes have made all their officials and signed with us. Hopefully he doesn't end up taking all of them and this is nothing to get excited over.

4-star Tennessee CB commit Marquill Osborne (Cornelius, NC/Hough) said he's solid with the Vols.

Hasn't visited anywhere else but said he plans to visit Tennessee, Florida, Clemson & Michigan.

He said he talked to Florida earlier in the week.

He said he hasn't heard from Clemson since they offered a month ago.
