'16 NC OG Landon Dickerson

Yeah. I made the statement that Richmond has practiced at RT and I think he's better suited for that side and it wouldn't surprise me if Hall is at left and Richmond at right. It all went downhill from there. Poster has a huge problem with me.

To be fair, I get it. I'm not the kind of person to threaten violence on strangers but if you ever brought that Richmond at RT mess into MY living room, my shirt would be off, my zima would be all spilt and id be swinging these sleeve rockets in a matter of seconds. I'm tearing up now just thinking about it.

Someone get me mod.

Aaand I'll put some blue font on that for you.

So bring him in as a Tackle. Competition makes everybody better and improves depth. Ultimately, if the kid wants to play, he'll either rise above the level of his competition or play another position. That's a win/win.

The scenario where it isnt a win/win is he commits, gets on campus and when we try to switch him to G he balks and transfers. At this point you have missed on another potentially good player to take him, and now you have neither.

If the kid is set on playing OT only and isn't interested in even considering OG, best to tell him the truth even if that has him choosing another school. If they don't like him at tackle, wish him well and move on.

No kid decides where he plays ahead of time--that is naive and stupid. Yea, certain players like receivers and running backs know what their position is going to be, but linemen get moved--at all schools, all the time. A request to play a certain position can be honored, of course--but coaches will put players at new positions if they think the switch will help the team. DUH.

"Landon Dickerson looks to be heading to Florida State at this point. As we've mentioned, the defensive side of the ball has taken priority this last week and that could be the case here."

- Fortenberry

IF Tn is letting him walk away, then the coaches must know something about Brown, Kongbo, and Byrd. Again that is if it is our decision. Who do we take if two of those three say no? Moss, and who else?

I agree. Put all the big uglies in one pile that say L like the old days. They practice and meet with their position coach, get in the weight room and see what big boy football is all about and then some of the D-Line move to O-Line and the LB's move to end and all the O-Line learn to play every position on the line except maybe center. This formula worked for years.

I think there is a very good chance Butch isn't letting him walk away. It sounds to me like Butch picked up on his favoring FSU a while go. Time better utilized elsewhere.

If so, LWS was right before anyone else. He said they would take 3 and Stewart would be enrolling a couple days before VQ did. If it plays out, job well done.

If we had landed all 4 of Warrior, Byrd, Kongbo, and Brown, I bet he would have been slated to arrive during fall camp and counting in the 2017 class though.

You could be right. Maybe he visited so many times just to get the college experience a little early and it was close to home. Butch picked up on that and is why he supposedly didn't really fool with him on his official visit.

Lol. I've been told to go die in a fire multiple times. It makes me laugh that someone gets that upset about their opinion being disagreed with.

I HATE those people that show up at your house and tell you you need to be "SAVED" or you are going to "BURN."

Stupid firemen.

I'd love to see what that person would say if they met you face to face. I treat everyone on here like I will meet them tomorrow, even if I disagree with them. If someone annoys me? I probably wouldn't talk to them anyway, but I won't be a jerk about it.

Same thing with the players. People in an internet forum will say things they would never say if they met the player or sat beside their parents at a game. Lighthearted ribbing is fun, but personal attacks are uncalled for.

Agreed, I wouldn't say anything to anyone online that I wouldn't say to their face. I try to respectful and even if I don't agree with them. I like to have fun just like anyone else and I like to have a little light hearted trash talk with opposing fan but nothing serious.
