'16 NC RB Robert Washington

I like his size! However, I'm a big fan of having a bruiser back. I think we should find a 2** kid that's about 230-250 and runs a 4.6-7. 3rd and goal line.

I would love to get Washington. my only concern is his competition. With that said hes no as good as Emmons, who could be the best rb talent in the nation.

Have similar question marks with this kid. He is a good talent tho. I wanna see him at an event like the opening in the 7 on 7 wrk and some of the others drills against similar athletes

I'm right there with you. Christian Okoye, Jerome Bettis, and Ron Dayne (man, he was fun to watch in college) would be right up there on my list of all-time favorite, non-Vol RBs.

Griddie went straight Scottish in this post.

Greetings, Sir Swan. Any favorites for the 2016 class, and thoughts on Mr. Washington? :crossfingers:

No thoughts this early. Although I'm confident Butch will sign another elite class and I'm looking forward to it. Just enjoying the ride.

I think Tennessee has some targets higher on the board. They are still recruiting him, but I think guys like Holyfield and committed guys like Emmons, Speights and Feaster are all guys they continue to recruit hard. Matt Falcon is up there as well.

Per Callahan

Washington, who's rated a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite, received a scholarship offer from Tennessee more than a year ago and quickly established himself as one of the Vols’ top running-back targets. He has visited UT on several occasions, although he last traveled to Knoxville in July for a visit that coincided with one of the Vols’ camps. He recently named North Carolina, Syracuse, TCU and Alabama as four of his current favorites, but Tennessee also is believed to be near the top of his list.
