So happy to have this guy as a Vol!
He is a huge addition. Will be part of a generation of excellent quarterbacks at UT

Rutgers insider just CB'd Jarrett to Florida

You have to take 1 QB a year in the SEC. Kids know that, and unless they're afraid of competition there's usually no issue.

JG isn't decommitting because a guy a year behind him just committed. That would literally be the dumbest thing ever, and he isn't dumb. He will be in UT's system a year to 1.5 years ahead of Hunter Johnson learning the system. That crystal ball projection is a guy looking to be contrary and earn bonus points...

Yea I doubt JG is dumb enough to go from a team that's on the rise to a dumpster fire like Florida.

I would imagine Butch has been in contact with JG throughout this. The staff is good about continuing to recruit committed guys.

I could understand it if Johnson was a 16 guy instead of a 17. With a year between them, it should not be a big deal. I can't think he thought we would try to recruit a bad QB in the next class.

Why would the Rutgers insider CB him to Florida? Has to be more to this.

He would get no points for switching to Tennessee and the Florida staff does have some ammunition to recruit with now...and then you have the twitter follows mentioned above. Florida will make a play for him but JG looks solid to Tennessee. If he was scared of competition, would Florida with Will Grier be his next call?
