He would get no points for switching to Tennessee and the Florida staff does have some ammunition to recruit with now...and then you have the twitter follows mentioned above. Florida will make a play for him but JG looks solid to Tennessee. If he was scared of competition, would Florida with Will Grier be his next call?

UF has a top 50 QB recruit committed for 2017 as well.

JG will have a year over Johnson to learn the system. Plus, Johnson knows that he's going to have guys like Dormady, Jones, and JG ahead of him with much more experience.

Give Butch some credit. Do ya think with 18 months to go until Hunter Johnson signs a LOI, that Butch would let him publicly commit if he thought JG would jump ship? One QB per year, the best damn one you can get.

What ammunition he is the only QB we are taking this class?

Well put... Jones and Debord talk to JG every day. The Johnson commitment did not come as a surprise to him. He understands that we will try to sign a great quarterback every year just as Florida does.

Why would he care about who commits after him when he will have a year up on them in the system. Also if we weren't upfront with him then we wouldn't have had them visiting on the same day at Orange carpet day. I'm sure he was fully aware of Hunter at that time.

JG is a much better fit for our offense than he would be Florida. That's just a guy looking at who followed him last and see if it's a TN rival. I'm sure Florida has reached out to JG spewing garbage but surely he would trust his relationship with Coach Jones and his dad.

No big time program is going to not grab an elite QB every year if they have the chance. That's how you get in the mess we had before Butch

Because they are selling a system change to pro style after this year to secure these QBs, and i believe it and dont think its a big secret.

Why would Butch switch to a pro-style offense?

This is HIS offense. Not DeBord's. And it's set to explode in 2016 and beyond.

No saying that your wrong but not sure I follow that logic. His top 2 were ND and UT which both run similar offenses and neither are pro style maybe the route concepts are but their both based out of the spread. Who knows though but just don't follow that pattern.

Trevor Lawrence also, this is a big selling point to his dad.
Go Prostyle.

I did. sounded like coach speak from a player. him following UF coaches tonight is very troubling

Kids follow coaches all the time that are trying to recruit them, if he is really scared over a 2017 recruit than that is retarded
