'16 NJ QB Jarrett Guarantano (Vols commit 4/15/2015)

It's incredibly rare that the "package deal" happens with teammates or friends who are both top talents. So for people who follow recruiting, especially JGs recruitment, it's not really very logical.

I don't think you understand what a "package deal" is. A package deal is when you take a less talented player in order to get a better one (like we did with D'Rick or however you spell his name). This would not be a package deal--it would just be an old fashioned player talking a friend into going to one of the hottest recruiting schools our there right now. I never said it would happen. I said it worries me. Michigan is hot right now and they are friends. Anyone who is objective could see the worry.

It is not an opinion--it was just a worry about something that any objective person should be able to see. I think people on here are so blinded by UT love that they have no intelligence.

Absolutely, but this guy JG seems like he's completely sold on playing at UT no matter what. Don't worry about this one.

You can't call someone an intellectual light weight and proclaim yourself a better fan than someone else. Just saying.

Also, there's nothing out there that supports JG to Michigan. The RB at least had a mild interest in UT and the process was on full blast for all three NJ kids. That process ended with JG a long time ago and they already parted ways with their choice. From what we know, it is not logical to think JG is going to Michigan or could at this point. Yes, it could change but again, there is nothing supporting that.

I stand behind what I wrote. They are friends and MI is red hot recruiting right now and that worries me. If it does not worry you then fine. I hope my worry is for nothing, but after we lost the other QB to Clemson, I am worrying. Sorry.

That seems like a fair statement, so I hope that is correct. I will stop worrying. LOL. Back to your favorite channel and let's put this one to bed.

Jarrett is the reason the other QB flipped to Clemson, along with Dormady, Jones, and the likelihood of landing Trevor Lawrence in 2018....

Go to the tweet section and see his recent tweets about Come to UT or watch UT win... Nothing to worry about

It's not orange sunglasses that is inspiring the dismissive attitude about your worries. The regulars here know the detailed backstories and there is absolutely no cause for concern about JG flipping to Michigan.

The deal is Walker was already previously committed to OSU at a time when JG's recruitment was open and OSU wanted him badly. JG snubbed them for the Vols and got KW to consider a visit to Tennessee when we weren't previously on his radar. Walker ultimately flipped to Michigan but there is next zero chance JG does the same. His father is very close to Butch and there is no way Harbaugh builds that relationship in two months.

Just sayin'.

You are drubbing up drama for nothing. Anybody who 'objectively' has any idea about his recruitment knows there is about a 2% chance her would flip from UT. If that constitutes worrying in your mind then have at it.

A package deal is any time two buddies or teammates from HS play at the same college. Again, it's incredibly rare that two HS friends influence each other to change their commitment.

That's a shame because what you wrote is hypocritical. Your chicken little mentality isn't a fit for recruiting. I suggest you stay away.

BS. You call anyone you don't agree with a troll. I am much more of a fan than you will ever be. Calling someone a troll just to dismiss his post shows you are an intellectual lightweight. What I wrote is 100% logical and relevant, even if you cannot understand it or don't want to admit it. That does not make me a troll.

Logical and relevant? WTF is logical and relevant about your posts? Jones has a long standing relationship going back with the family to before Jarrett was even born. JG has recruited for the Vols openly ever since he committed and has done nothing to indicate that he has interest anywhere else. Yet your ill informed, chicken little opinion is "logical and relevant"?
