1. Michigan is red hot right now in recruiting
2. The RB they just flipped is also from NJ and a friend.
3. We just lost a big QB who was "all Vol".
4. We have lost lots lots of recruits in the past like this.
5. We are not exactly winning a lot of recruiting wars right now from what I have read.

Oh, but none of you can "see" it. I guess what you are really saying is you don't want to see it because you hope it will not happen. I hope it does not happen either, but any objective person can "see it". LOL.

Who are the "lots of recruits" we lost and flipped in the past? Fact is, Butch has had very few. You're making **** up.... Not to mention this happens to everybody.

“I think Tennessee is going to get better and better as the years go on,” Guarantano said, “and it’s just good to see that we’re 8-4 right now and we’re going to a nice bowl game but that’s not where we want to be. We want to win a national championship, an SEC championship and hopefully that starts when I get there.”

“I think getting good players is key. Our recruiting class is good, but we can get better and get some good players down the stretch,” Guarantano said. “Some SEC schools are having trouble keeping coaches around and we know coach Butch is going to be there for a while.”

“I think I can make an impact as hard as I work,” Guarantano said. “I think the offense is tailor made for me and I think the offense is going to be perfect and as I get better and better and get on the field and get the No. 2 spot, because I know Josh Dobbs has been the quarterback for the past couple of years, so I’m just hoping to get better this next year and whenever my time comes my time comes.”

People that have followed recruiting closely for a good while know this statement to be false. One would think good friends would have more sway on each other's college destinations, but in actuality it very rarely happens.

Besides that though, what does one QB-- in the subsequent class-- flipping have to do with JG? They are completely separate instances with no bearing on each other.

For someone not very well versed in recruiting, I guess I can see how you would be worried-- albeit wrongly.
