Just watched his film from the UA practices and oh boy we have someone special coming. This dude is a rich mans Josh Dobbs. The deep passes he were throwing were beautiful. He throws bullets to. Definitely excited for this young one to join the big orange.

The exciting thing too is that a college S&C program should help increase his arm strength a bit too. Remember Dobbs' freshman year when so many of his passes short and didn't have enough zip on them? His freshman year he'd have never been able to complete that deep ball against UK.

Hopefully Guarantano is able to pack on plenty of muscle during his redshirt season.

Guarantano is definitely more advanced at the same age. It'll be interesting to see if he can make the same improvements.

I said from the first film I saw of him that he's a Colin Kaepernick clone.

“everything’s good with tennessee. I’ll be there in june,” guarantano said tuesday following his first practice with team armour in preparation for saturday’s under armour all-america game.

“but that’s really all. There’s nothing really new. Me and coach butch (jones) still have a great relationship. Me and (offensive coordinator mike) debord are getting an even better relationship. (offensive graduate assistant) nick sheridan’s becoming a big part of my recruitment. He’s doing a great job.”

“landon’s my new roommate now. We added him to my room, so i guess i have to recruit him up a little bit,” said guarantano, who’s ranked the nation’s no. 72 overall prospect and no. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the 247sports composite for the 2016 class.

“i walked into my room, and he was already in there with marquill. I guess he got that to happen.”
