"I'm looking to go in, and I'm going to have the mindset of I'm starting. I obviously know I'm not. We have a great player in front of me, but I'm going to have the mindset that I'm starting. That's how I'm going to prepare each and every week."

Guarantano, who has drawn comparisons to Clemson's Deshaun Watson, likes the fact that how Tennessee used Dobbs this season should match his skill set, and he's built a better relationship with his future offensive coordinator through three meetings with Mike DeBord earlier this month.

"That offense fits me perfectly," he said, "and I'm just really excited that I have the chance to play at the University of Tennessee."

I remember wondering about the resurgence of interest in him. I was stoked about Kendall but trusted the coaches had a good reason.

Coaches or someone please show this thread and all of the other chatter to all of our WR recruits so they know what kind of QB they would have coming in with them if they come here. I'm sure the coaches are on it, just saying.

I'm interested to see who comes out of the QB battle next year at OU as the starter with Kendall and Murray. It'll probably end up being Murray since he already has college experience, but who knows. Should be a fun story to follow

By next year do you mean the year after the upcoming one? Mayfield is a junior.

If I remember correctly, Leb kept complaining about INTs he threw and there was a huge debate about whether he threw more INTs than TDs.

Also, many people were trying to spin Kendall's decommit as being because of a lack of confidence in Debord as opposed to us finding another stud who wanted on board.

And JG was actually "slower" according to some weird stopwatches. :)

Traditionally when you're complimenting somebody, you do so on their own merit. Shoehorning in a peer is clumsy and awkward. Remember that the next time you try to pick up a chick by calling her a "flat-chested Kate Upton". :)

Now this may have been your best work
