If it was set in stone it wouldn't make sense to visit OSU. I think we are the obvious choice but I can't count out Urban and JG seemed like a OSU lock at one time. However I think Tristen Wallace is on campus this wknd so maybe he will commit to them and JG doesn't visit at all

In response to the dooley lost us vonn bell reference, it was butch who lost us bell. I love butch dont get me wrong but vonn bell though he was full of crap. He came by to visit one of his buddies at etsu and he was at a party and i talked to him about it. True story

BJ had a little over 2 months to recruit VB and Dooley was attempting to try and recruit VB for over a year but it was Butch that lost VB ? Screw VB

No Dooley lost him. Hard to earn trust in two months that Urban had built over a year. He may have said that, but obviously he isn't "full of crap." Look what he's building. Dooley didn't recruit him AT ALL. Hard to overcome that

Urban Meyer is filled with more crap than a septic tank. If he had stayed at UF the fraud that he is would have been exposed. His record wouldn't look so pretty.

I've actually discussed Vonns recruitment with his father before. Met him at a golf tournament at my home course. He said never contacted them. He said Butch was a great guy and really had Vonn thinking, but it was too much to overcome.

I can't believe we're still talking about Von Bell. He's not a Vol and I'm calling bull**** on him ever being a fan. Would any of you go to Alabama or OSU? Hell no.

He's dead to me. I don't care how well he does at OSU or anywhere else.

Go Guarantano and Go Vols.

No. Bell made his announcement to OSU the morning of NSD. Butch did everything he could to get Bell at the 11th hour, and many thought he was gonna commit to UT because of it, but he obviously chose OSU. Butch and his full staff had been in place for at least 6-8 weeks.

Define "who lost us Bell".... Bell wanted to come to UT but got virtually no attention from Dooley which led him to look at other schools/offers. Butch came in at the 11th hour to repair a poor Bell/UT relationship but there was too much to overcome. I would submit that although Butch was the headcoach when Bell made his announcement, it was Dooley's indifference to Bell over the previous couple of years that lost Bell's commitment.

There was an enormous amount of drugs and alcohol at that party so anything that was talked about or that happened can not be remembered by anyone there. The guy who identified himself as "Vonn Bell" at that party was about 5'-7" and weighed about 240 pounds.
