Jarrett is going to commit on April 15th, wondering what was special about that date? Is he just wanting to make Tennessee fans feel good on tax day?

He is giving Eric and me a nice little birthday gift. Watch...he will throw up the VFL sign when he commits...that's a shoutout sign to Eric and me. :)

Lol! 30 is nothing. I'm turning 39...just one more year until you know what. I don't even care...bring it on. I feel just as good as I did in my 20s, and am probably close to being in the best shape physically, but more important, spiritually than I have my entire life. Happy birthday to us, Eric! From JG. Lol!

Recruiting wrap: Guarantano has been close to committing a few times but it looks like his recruitment will end in mid-April. Ohio State was the leader early on but the Buckeyes have fallen off the pace over the past month or so. Urban Meyer will get his chance to impress when the Rivals100 quarterback returns to Columbus in early April. Tennessee made a very good impression on Guarantano when he was in Knoxville earlier this week but Rutgers, the hometown team, is still very much in the mix.

Likely destination: Tennessee

Analyst breakdown: Guarantano's teammates didn't do him any favors last season but he still played like a Rivals100 prospect. His arm strength, vision and playmaking ability while on the run gives his team a chance to score on virtually every play. When Guarantano is able to set his feet and read the defense, he has very little trouble finding the open receiver.

I'm a little older than you, and while we've had several massive blowouts of Kentucky the last 40 years, there have been several games where Ky "gave us a fit" in either victory or defeat...

1975 17-13 Tennessee
1976 7-0 Kentucky
1977 21-17 Kentucky
1979 2017 Tennessee
1981 21-10 Kentucky
1983 10-0 Tennessee
1984 17-12 Kentucky
1987 24-22 Tennessee
1988 28-24 Kentucky
1991 16-7 Tennessee
1995 34-31 Tennessee
2001 38-35 Tennessee
2004 37-31 Tennessee
2006 17-12 Tennessee
2007 52-50 Tennessee
2009 30-24 Tennessee
2011 10-7 Kentucky

That's 17 games of the last 40 games that resulted in either a loss or a win by 11 Pts or less... 10 of our wins were by 6 Pts or less

1988 was a UT win but correct score. I went to the 2001 game in Lexington and that one didn't look good for a while. We should have lost in 2007. Took a blocked field goal to continue OT.

No. Bell made his announcement to OSU the morning of NSD. Butch did everything he could to get Bell at the 11th hour, and many thought he was gonna commit to UT because of it, but he obviously chose OSU. Butch and his full staff had been in place for at least 6-8 weeks.

He even lied to his girlfriend. His mom got a job up there. He can live in that forsaken no sweet tea place for the rest of his life and freeze his butt off. Who cares. I like TJK better anyway.
