Crunch Time As Guarantano Nears His Announcement
Oradel Bergen Catholic 2016 quarterback Jarrett Guarantano is set to announce his college choice on Wednesday afternoon at Bergen Catholic High School.
So that means Guarantanos three finalists, Ohio State, Tennessee and Rutgers, are doing everything they can right up to the end in hopes of landing the talented quarterback.
The 6-foot-4 and 198-pound Guarantano missed the last three games of his junior season with an injury. In the seven games he played in Guarantano threw for 1,200 plus yards and 13 touchdowns. He also rushed for four touchdowns.
Guarantano narrowed his decision down to Ohio State, Tennessee and Rutgers from his list of 30 plus scholarship offers.
Guarantano is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the countrys No. 130 overall 2016 prospect, the No. 6 pro-style quarterback, and the No. 4 prospect in New Jersey.
