You can't compare Drew Richcmond to Walker. DR loved Tennessee from the get go and has a lot of friends here already. Walker has absolutely no tie, other than JG, to Tennessee.

I'm with Catbone, as recruitniks let's move on from Walker and Mecole while we're at it. Butch will get a good gauge from KW during the visit whether to expend any further energy.

That said... Butch Jones.

I wouldn't put many eggs in this basket. Trying to out recruit Meyer coming off a national championship and current Heisman hopeful at RB. Couple that with Walker's repping OSU all over twitter.

Will need a miracle visit to stand any chance. I wouldn't bet on it.

Trying to out recruit Jones is pretty difficult also.

Disagree. OSU is stacked at RB and UT isn't. Immediate PT in the SEC verses riding the pine for 2-3 years will weigh heavily in his final decision.

Has that ever affected Bama's RB recruiting? Great teams recruit like tOSU and Bama. UT is getting there, and we don't have depth at RB. However, that doesn't mean we are in the thick of this recruitment yet.

Who has Urban beat out Jones for? Butch is an ace recruiter so far and I'm not really sure he has consistently lost out on recruits to anyone.

Yes Butch is an ace recruiter however OSU has finished with a better recruiting class ever since Urban got there. That's all I meant.

Yes, our 2015 class is better than there's according to Rivals and 247. All Im really saying is that I'd put Jones up against any one coach in the country as far as getting a recruit that he really wants.

Yep, highly likely. Good grief Jones had little time with Bell compared to urbie. Gibson, I don't think we were in the hunt except maybe early on. We were looking at other Qb's and he was told that. Unlike what urbie tells recruits Jones shoots straight. GO VOLS!!!!
