I know people on here think players don’t do any wrong. But I think we need more competitive players that have fire, it’s like certain players go through the motions and don’t care if they win or lose. I like players that absolutely hate losing and will fight until the end. Even post game press conferences it’s nothing but the same thing said after every loss. Only thing that can salvage the season is Rickea coming back and averages around 30 a night. Next year they need to let certain players go and get new players that will fit the bill from what I’ve said. This is about winning championships and not being nice and smiling all the time, I could go on but I’ll stop for now.
3 games in a row with an 11+ point run that took away our momentum
no time out called
that is NOT the player's fault

I know the families of several of these players and I know for a fact "They Hate To Lose!"

this is a team that has proven over the years that they cannot bounce back from sustained runs.
It is up to the coach to see this and change her game plan and in-game tactics.

Yeah. How is he better than Kellie, other than only one EE to go with his perennial SS finishes?

Ok here it goes, he has won everywhere he has been, NCSt is one of the top teams in the country, every time Tennessee plays a decent team they lose. They play with no fire they look confused and most every team they play plays harder. I really like Kellie but she is not an sec caliber coach. And where do you think is easiest to recruit to NCst or Tennessee? Please tell me why you would rather have Kellie?

ask that 8 games ago when TN was 11 and NCST was nowhere
a little"weighted" to ask that now

hey wes moore got to elite 8 last year what if we hired Alpha Male Wes Moore Governor of Maryland and combat veteran he wouldn't tolerate this kind of play
He did last year. I’m more on the Walz train if we’re going that route more consistent and a final four. Kenny brooks or Vic Shaf

I like moore but he has his issues too

ya he did lose 12 games i know but he showed up for the tournament
On Brooks Va Tech was bold in plucking him from program like James Madison and Vic went home to austin
my thing with walz is that we will not pay him what louisville pays him

Just made a big post in the Kellie discussion page saying this. I’m not sold in brooks. Walz would be my pick just for sheer program running and overachieving.

Again I like Kellie but please tell me what in any of her teams gives you any hope that she will ever get UT back to competing for sec or national championships?

For me, I've had a hard time accepting the fact that the two best possible coaches for the lady Vols to hire and keep on staff live in the same house. This season doesn't appear it is going to get any better any time soon. How much lower are we willing to go before we have some serious conversations about the state of the program? I love the Lady Vols but I have lost interest in their play.

Is that right? WBB is exploding in popularity and the TV ratings as well as social media numbers back that up….the sport is growing fast, it’s a big deal to many.
But it's not. WNBA is a joke. The college game is only followed after the media pounds you with the narrative that you should watch it. If it wasn't for the Iowa player last year no one is watching. She saved the ratings single handedly. Imho

Do you know where aaronvol typed his message? Yeah, on a WBB board in a WBB thread. "But folks don't care about women's b-ball anymore", says aaronvol. This folks, is what you call a lurker with an inferiority complex. I think they are related to peeping toms but I'm no expert.
